I have the same bike 2007 I’ve been looking for a 125 but people are being asses and either want 1000 for a blown up one or 2500 for a nice shape one lol one day I will see the right one
Keep it! I have a cr85 powered pitbike (technically a micro dirtbike since it has the front part of the engine cradle welded to the pitbike frame). It has a 102cc big bore, balanced crank, FMF fatty pipe, Pro Circuit silencer, carbon reeds etc, FULLY built. I got it for $480 😱
@@ogsurrom Sorry my guy, I cant let this one go. CR's are SSOOO rare now and its fully built and basically brand new motor. And the engine is MINT condition I cant let her go sorry.
I would get a Honda piston and ring kit and some new gaskets whoever used 3 m yellow glue is crazy lol I wish I lived close to u man I would have bought that before u started Not a bad bike for the money I have a 07 125 cr trying to find a 85
The only reason to rebuild the crank is if your rod bearing is really worn out and has a lot of up and down play little side to side is alright another thing to check just for safe keeping is spray Ether around the crank seals to make sure there not leaking you will know if they are leaking the bike will idle high or just simply blow up but i think as long as the person knew enough to check the crank before the big bore then you should be fine🙂
Looks like rear wheel is just painted, just hit it with a strong pressure washer, and it should come off. Bikes also missing a mud flap under the airbox. better off buying a black plastic kit for it, with a crf150r front guard. White number plates and white fork guards. It’ll match the black frame then. Go get a can of exhaust enamel matte black spray paint for $10 and repaint the expansion chamber. It’ll make the bike look a lot cleaner
i really need ur advice, how much do you think a 2019 kx85 is. original owner, he said there’s less than 5 hours on it and he bought it but barely rode it
@@galaxilox4526 im Canadian so couldn’t tell you if I was in the ball park or not here 1000$ is not bad 1500$ will get you a partly running bike that will need things 2k depends on the person and bike will get you a decent bike
Dj Garage Why Cr 125 1993 keep scraching My piston I ride only 3 Time and it blow up it blow up 2 brand new piston only 2 hours in it so can you help me fix the problem
@@joshualocklear1099 exactly Meriad Haliti one thing to check is your piston ring gap if it’s too small it will blow your engine from lack of oil or from what it sounds like there maybe a air leak somewhere intakeboot, crankseals, base gasket leak and so on one thing about 2 strokes is you need to have them airtight only air that can be in your engine is from your intake from the carburetor
@@supermairo1716 The ring gap is to small the mechanic in my contry say its okay When i have full throtle on hill climb its sound like is shaving somthing in cylinder
@@meriadhaliti yea you should really make sure your ring gap is with in spec you can’t have a tight ring gap if you do when the ring gets hot it will expand and cause the bike to blow up from lack of oil I can’t tell you exactly bc I don’t own the bike 🙂
It’s where you warm the bike up very carefully and methodically the first few times after installing a new piston. It’s to break the parts in safely and allow them to take shape. Basically, you don’t wanna take a freshly rebuilt top end, fire it up ice cold and go rip it
Doesn't sound good. Sounds lean or something. It doesnt have that 2 stroke pop to it. I got a 97 CR80R that i dumped 2gs into. About to do a complete engine rebuild. Can't wait to rip Er again.
