Plastics, gas tank, seat, tires, brake lines, throttle cable, clutch cable, master cylinders front and rear, mud flap, airbox, tires, tubes, repaint frame, maybe engine seals got melted, kill switch, rebuild carb. Its gonna be like $800 in parts..not bad

This is cool, I recently got a KX85 for 150 and it was really good condition jut missing a spoke and tire but once you finish this bike it will be a huge transformation, can't wait to see you finish it

The ol locked up 2 stroke. One thing ive come to terms with in owning a two stroke, you better be ready to wrench.

Nice job👍🏻 I just bought one too. For 70€ (~85$)😁 It looks like shit, someone emptied one or two rattle cans on it but nothing unfixable. And it needed a clutch. But it is running and driving. And i just discovered that it even has a rebuilt top end. I was shocked... I mean, how stupid can you be?🤦‍♂️ Edit: It's sold, for 2k😐

Honestly in my opinion for example the wheels stuff that’s not gonna get hot or something that won’t be affected by it leave the burnt look on some parts to give it character from where it started

Reason why it was locked up is bencause of rust. Thin layer formed on bearings when bike was sitting after fire being put out. My friend had similiar case as he pressure washed the bike and then it was sitting for a winter. In spring he had to actually replace crank bearings as he was unable to get it spinning freely. Top end is nice in your case and it doesn't need replacing. Ride it a little and if the bearings are not noisy they are fine too.
