Yes and not really. Look back in my reviews and you'll see i have those two in my hands. The lx is larger in diameter but they are both big lights and the beam the mf05 produces is closer to the lx70 than you think.

Hmmm, Short answer... kinda.. manufacturers match reflectors to the leds. In saying that, lf the led fits inside the reflector, it will work, but possibly not as well as the original. Orange peel reflectors are quite forgiving. And if you use a smaller led than the original, the beam will be narrower.
