It's always fun going back through cards like this. I remember years ago I bought a single pack of 2010 Topps Pro Debut for like $1.50. I bought some other stuff and as the guy was ringing me up he had them on the counter and said they were a new thing of "nobodies..so far". I figured what the hell and bought a pack for like $1.50. I pulled an Arenado rookie and some guy by the name of Mike Trout. Fast forward and now that card is worth a decent amount for a base rookie card. One of my best pulls ever and it wasn't even an insert or auto. I should probably get it graded, but I guess I'm the type that is just scared that it'll get lost in transit haha. Anyway, you've been killing it lately with the Trouts, so I guess it's not unexpected that you didn't pull one here. But it's still great seeing some of those names again. It's crazy how long some of those guys have been out of the league already.

Those diamond giveaway promo cards were actually very popular at the time because it allowed you to go online and actually win a randomized card that was in the tops vault. Some of these cards were amazing you could pull carts in the 1960s 1970s and then trade them with other people online.majority of that year those promo diamond giveaway cards would be selling on eBay from anywhere between two dollars to three dollars apiece

Yeah man definitely try and get more packs of these but my recommendation is to only get blaster boxes or hobby boxes these rack packs or actually very easy to search through if you fan the cards

LeMachine RC is a pretty nice pull.

2011 Topps is such a beautiful set. Prices on the sealed product are insane though, Trout or no Trout. The Altuve is an ok consolation prize, ha.

The base Carlos Beltran is the indicator card right before the Trout rookie. Unfortunately I don’t think the diamond variation is but it would have been sweet if it indicated the diamond Trout

2 jumbo packs for $500 holy crap I had no idea the current wax prices on these. I had stepped away from the hobby during these years so I never got to open a pack and never will. 😂

I opened alot of these packs and was fortunate enough to pull a trout rookie which I still have.

You pulled a Doug Fister and a Charlie Furbush. I think we are all winners after that.

I had a Trevor Plouffe autographed picture but I lost it during a move. I was a bit bummed as I had it on my refrigerator along with a Brian Duensing autographed picture. I still have the Duensing though. I was pretty confident that I was the only person in the world that had an autographed Plouffe and an autographed Duensing picture on a refrigerator. I think I should try get some other autographs and try to make my refrigerator unique again.

In case you were wondering, because I was. Mike Trout vs Phil in 11 plate appearances he went 3 for 9 with 2 hr and 3k’s. Not terrible, not great. Inflated OPS from those HRs. And 0-2 on RC pulls. But still a great vid. Next time you do 2011 Update, can you share anything about pitching to Trout?

I collected so much of 2011 but I ran out of money from my first job after series 2. Never got update, wish I could go back in time.
