@@nicks7690 when is the last time you actually went to a store for just cards?? Its not like the 80s and 90s. There is low priced with low low return. High price is where it is. Back in the day when you had topps, upper deck and fleer ultra you could land nice stuff not that way anymore. No one crying but high price product has same autos anyways.

The product is actually garbage. If you don’t pull the Bayron or Robert or Jasson you lose big time. Like he said. The checklist is huge. That case is over $3K. If he didn’t hit the Bayron he would have lost huge. Imagine buying a box of that for over $300 and getting that first box he opened with three pitchers worth a total of maybe $20.

I know Elite is nowhere near an Orange Bowman Chrome Lora, but you can get Lora's first auto in 2017 Elite for $20. Sad someone paid $2500 for the base auto.

Hey, Phil! Quick question. When buying multiple hobby boxes online, what are the pros and cons of buying from multiple vendors versus one single vendor, e.g. Blowout? If there are case hits, does it make sense to buy boxes from multiple sellers to increase your odds of a sick pull? I typically buy from different vendors to mix things up but was curious on your thoughts and was hoping you could share some personal advice to your followers and fans. Cheers! - Aaron Fox

All the Lora's that have sold are OBOs so no true price on him yet. One base auto is up to 375 with 18hrs left so safe to assume it could get up to 500/600+ There's a few BINs/obo at 800 sitting there so prob won't go past that

I remember when kids used to be able to collect cards. Now their parents have to take out a second mortgage to afford a pack.

You can still get retail packs for decent prices at Wal-Mart, Target, etc. And they will be mostly base and inserts just like when I was a kid. But, if you want stuff with guaranteed autos, patches, etc then you will have to pay. If you want to do it to just build a set or collect favorite teams, players, etc then you are better off buying retail packs. If you are looking to invest with the chances of hitting a $10k+ card (like that orange wave Bayron) then you have to spend money and take a chance.

Chad Rhodes the problem with that is that the “super collectors” have people that go to the Walmart’s, Targets and wherever else’s to purchase as many packs as they can. Thus eliminating or greatly reducing the chance of someone (kids or adults) being able to find retail product unless they relentlessly stalk their local retailer for fresh stock. I’ve looked myself quite a few times at my local Walmart and Target for some of the retail releases and found 0 product.
