The last house is 17111 El Vuelo, Rancho Santa Fe. Listed in 2015 for $60 million. Listed in 2020 for $29 million. Took 7 years to build and now 5 years on the market.

Even though many can, nobody is going to pay that amount for it because of the lack of outdoor space. The house itself is gorgeous but sits on roughly 4 acre which is nothing compared to other properties in the area.

Amer Siraz yes he can sell them, no to the amount he can sell them for. large sales of stock from the CEO would signify low confidence in the company, whether that is true or not. perceived low confidence would cause other investors to sell off their shares, and since bezos can’t sell that much stock all at once, each batch that he does sell would be for less than the previous batch. additionally, he would have to register each sale with the securities and exchange commission, which limits how many and how often he can make those sales. i don’t know enough about amazon’s corporate structure, but for most publicly traded companies, certain shares control the voting power of the company. he would be losing his ownership as well as his power over the company that he’s spent 25 years creating. while he could retire, he could also retire with ownership of his company, and have a lifetime of continued wealth-building. it doesn’t make sense for him to sell off his ownership. hope that helps as there is a lot that goes into it

I love the concept. I love all the features and interior design. But I can just imagine the upkeep of the property and it would probably be hard to resell this so once its yours it's yours. You have to be a multi billionaire to afford it

It’s actually 73,934 square feet. It totals up to 100,000 square feet with all the buildings on the property, so you can’t call it the largest house in America because it’s not under one roof. With that said the crown of the largest home in America belongs to Versailles, in Windermere fl which is 16,000 sqft larger. (Technically it’s the Biltmore estate but that’s now been turned into a museum.)

If anyone does end up buying this property (assuming it's finished in the first place), I don't think anyone would pay over $80 million. Half a billion dollars is just way too much, and besides, most people don't pay the asking price.
