The Viking 72 Convertible is a luxurious and high-performance yacht built by Viking Yachts. This sportfishing yacht is known for its sleek design, spacious interiors, and powerful performance on the water. There are not many yachts at 72ft in length can boast a fast-cruising speed of 37 knots, and wide-open throttle reaching speeds in excess of 44 knots!!
This particular example is made even more special by being fully customized for a disabled owner to enjoy life on the water. There is wheelchair access to the cockpit, saloon, master stateroom, and even the flybridge!! My wife is disabled and I myself have had back surgery, so I know first hand what having mobility issues can be like. The fact you can still enjoy a yacht like this was refreshing to say the least!!

I found out first hand that your health is your wealth. When it's going good, you kind of take it for granted. I did think this boat was awesome for having someone overcome the health obstacles to still fish and cruise in style 😎

That's nice. I love the 72's. The 80's are great, but the 90's are too big. Those aren't really fishing yachts anymore. Thats a party boat. When they habe too many cabins then you got space to fish, the deck is too crowded, people are bunching in on each other. It's hot and some people are inside and some outside. Everyone is talking and it gets hard to communicate. I used to work on fishing yachts and I hated the 92's. The 62, 65, 72 were the best set up. We stayed overnight sometimes and they were comfy, you coukd lay up in the boat in the port in the Bahamas and be comfortable. No weird ticking or pump noises like Bertrams do.

Thanks Cliff. As much as she's a big boat, she seemed to be proportioned well. Great cockpit for fishing, and great accommodation for cruising. Almost a 50/50 split at deck level.
