Really cool info , Thank you. Just bought some of that leader wire, its pretty cheap. Maybe some round nose pliers for the bends. BTW has anyone ever said you sound like John Malkovich, its nice. look forward to the next one.

The powder paints cost a fortune in England £19.95 for a 2oz tub, are the ones you use less expensive?

All depends on which ones. The glitter and other name-brand versions are roughly $9 per 2oz. Plain gloss black by Barlow's Tackle is about $5 per 2oz. Links for the Nova Stone powder paint is in description below 👍

Yup. All you really needs is something that gives off motion and looks like something the fish would/could eat. Any kind of spinnerbait, jerkbait, swimbait, etc. is a reactionary bite. The fish is either seeing it from below or behind as it follows - deciding whether to bite or not. The color of the lure doesn't really matterfor these as the colors generally are just seen as shades of black. That's why beads and beer cans (shiny aluminum) work. They put of a bunch of flash - drawing the attention of the fish. That's it...Thanks for watching and the comment!
