Honestly im all for games to have old graphics even nowadays as long as it has its style and it fits, this looks good and gives that old vibe most fell in love with long ago.

This game rocks. After playing this, anything else rittzler comes out with is going to be an instant buy for me. Electrokinetic looks EXTREMELY good and while I don’t want it rushed to completion, I can’t wait to get my hands on that one. This game may have single-handedly given me a “schmoovement” addiction

So much of this is exciting, the sound design in particular!

As someone that have finished this game, it is interesting to see someone else missing out some paths and ended up progressing in an absolutely different way. It also proofs how well this game is made so that it's an actual metroidvania game rather than a fake open world with a forced linear path.

This gives me strong classic Tomb Raider vibes (sans tank controls), from the big climbable blocks and swinging axes to the muddy dark textures. Does this mean 90s Tomb Raider was a 3D metroidvania?

This oozes N64 from every pore, although as is usually the case you probably could not make a game like this on the N64 since the ones with graphics approaching this ran so close to the razor's edge that they often had framerate issues, or had to give up features in favor of optimization.

This game reminds me a bit of "Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time" in a way, just with better movement a different setting, and main character of corse.

This game has the best 3D platforming I've seen in a long time.

Maybe this is a result of me growing up just after the N64/Dreamcast era, but while I am ok with low-poly graphics, one thing that irks me is the over-commitment to the low-resolution style, if I have an HD monitor I want the UI at least to be crisp clean and HD. That said, this game is very pretty and has a lot of heart.

I love when Wander supports small indie developers.

Funnily enough, I got really into the 3DS again this year as well after I hacked it post-end of support. I made my way through all the mainline Ace Attorney games (just before Capcom announced the new collection, of course), and am almost finished with the Professor Layton series. Naturally, once I'm done with that it's off to Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright. I also played Detective Pikachu, and honestly I didn't like it. Paradoxically, the best way to get a true detective experience out of the game is to not know anything about Pokemon.

I know it's been up for 5 min but I'll try to watch this later. Its just refusing to not (!) On the video.

Back in the PS2 era games used to be a work of art, there were all kinds of games from all sorts of developers, there was so much variety and weird games. Today everything is owned by huge souless companies that just absorbed each other until they become a monopoly. Multi billion dollar games released once a year with no soul because it's just the same thing over and over. They're not made by artists but by bussiness men and political ideologues, their goal is no longer art but to make money and to promote their political agendas. It's sad that a game like this is the minority and most people wont know it exists.

For all companies keep flapping their mouths about diversity I'm willing to bet none have the balls to make a game with an anthro main character that doesn't look like a cereal mascot
