Few things that amazed me... 1. You two celebrates ur 10th anniversary with awesome trip to abroads..that was so romantic bro ❤🌴🌹 not many peoples could do that. 2. Im so jelous when watching you at the ferry.. the captain and his men allowed you to came inside to the control room (navigation i dont know the room name) 😁 even talking joking etc. We locals never had a chance to get that. I suggest to make a little research about what you gonna do in java. Find better spot\destinations that suite you, including the transportations expense, accomodation etc. That will help you much in budgets. However, as time goes by, trains in Indonesia are starting to modernize to become better and better transportation. Actually, the class you are taking is subsidized by the government so the ticket price is cheaper.

Many bananas sold in the mini market actually are the ones that didn't pass the QC. It doesn't mean it's not good to consume because the QC are mostly about the specific size (American wants slightly bigger, while Japanese love the medium size). The much larger and the lesser bananas, which didn't pass the QC on size, will go to local market including the mini markets. These bananas have lower price than the export quality ones. Second thing, banana's price depends on their fruit age, because they have the optimum time to be consumed. The closer to the stages of fruit rot, the cheaper price would be. It would be different if you buy fresh bananas from local farmer who grow the banana trees with more natural and organic ways.

In Java island if you guys love cultural and historical sites, there is a better place from Jogja to be honest, that is Temanggung city, and the precise place is Dieng Plateu. The temples is not as big as Borobudur or Prambanan but it feels so mythical. Im an Indonesian Buddhist and oftenly visitting Temples in east Java and central Java and i also traveling with low budget because im traveling as a pilgrim and stays on temples or homestay at friends and relatives places. If im traveling as a Buddhist monk, is totally free costs but as a lay Buddhist, Indonesian peoples no matter if it is a Moslems, Buddhist, Christians, or Hindus, they are kind persons and glad to help everyone who need helps. Could be 5, 50, 500 and so on. Say, 12500 = 12 and a half (thousand). So 1 and a half for that yellow cake snack (looks like a plain "Pukis") should be 1500 (a bit cheap).

dear, banana in Bali is used for offerings, fruits which are used for offerings in Bali are more expensive than fruits in Java. I am from Java and 23 years living in Bali with Bali ID now, Java fruits are always cheaper because they are just fruits there. Bali has higher price for fruits due to the role of fruits in rituals, higher demand.... and about the train, we locals who needs to have hurry in time would choose the more expensive one, because it is faster, cleaner, more comfortable seat for long ride, better aircon, etc. The cheaper is the slower, also no aircon and such, the seat is making your butt square for long ride
