Try the rubber band method with the manual slider. It should help with the jitters

I guess the manual one would be better for transporting if you needed one for on the go work.

Do you think the Neewer would work for recording landscape footage? I have never used a camera slider, nor a rig that improves the grip, and I really dislike the digital zoom effects you usually see on RU-vid videos. I would like to find out if I need to get a slider to get some acceptable "moving camera" footage.
