I been on a lucky kick with collector packs after not dabbling in them for a long time. 1 kamigawa and 1 domineria united from target net me a neon red ink and foil showcase sheoldred. I bought 2 brother war collector pack singles to try. First one had a foil schematic mox amber. I am on a warpath for a serial lol. It seems like the less greedy I am the more fortunate I get for openings. I too used to have no faith in the chain store single pack collectors...used to swear they were hosed. But seeing you, Joey moss, open a red neon ink from the Japanese packs...I got one from a target pack...the last one on the shelf half damage LOL. seems the obscure, forgotten and damaged packs are where the goodies hide.

I’ve gotten quite a few evolving wilds. My local Walmart has some two deck starter kits with two decks in them both with 4 copies in each deck. I think the kit is around $7. Picked up a few now. Just for the evolving wilds.

I just opened 2 set booster bundles. Pulled 2x myrel, gix, Ramos, borderless saheeli, diabolic intent, foil surge engine. Plus 2 great list hits, pitiless plunderer and Ob Nixilis. Loving this set. Edit: almost forgot, pulled an evolving wilds?? Looks like a misprint, it's showing common but I'm guessing it's supposed to be rare, it's such a busted card.

The numbered cards are rare, we opened about 56 boxes earlier and I think they only got 4 or 5, I bought 5 boxes myself and opened one box so far and didn’t get one, wish me luck on the next 4🤞🏻

I basically skip everything but the artifacts. In magic my favorite jam has always been artifacts. Since using the Kai budde gold border deck in 1999 with all thr classic staple urza era mana rocks and artifacts. And hands down the retro frame is my favorite treatment. So...collector packs loaded with foil retro artifacts and a chance for serialized? This will likely be my favorite set of packs for a long time. Before this strixhaven was my favorite collector pack. Second to retro artifacts I think the mystical archive jp alt cards are some of the most beautiful cards this game had. I'm talking master peices, box toppers, kaladesh inventions...the jp alt archives are godlike. They are flashy. These retro artifacts are so clean and sharp. They're like the ultimate tuxedo high end simplicity look of mtg cards. And that's before speaking about how critical and helpful they are in aiding decks to accomplish their goals

I've only seen 1 numbered card pulled at my card store. It was a numbered platinum angel. I cracked 2 boxes and pulled 3 mox Amber's but no numbered cards
