What's good my dude I see you doing your thing me and my uncle was talking about you yall work together and I drive semi trucks but I need to talk to you about a couple of questions for you if you don't mind
How do you go about getting paid for detention? Do you tell the broker to include it in the rate con or do you just kinda tell them you waited x amount of hours at pick up and you want money for detention? New to the game and just trying to get some tips
It all depends on that broker and their policy. Normally its the first 2 hours are free and after that it’s normally $50 or however much they put in the contract. But after the first 2 hours you are owed that but some brokers don’t like to pay. Stay firmed on it
It wasn’t a lot. May seem like it but it wasn’t. Leaving out of Texas to Illinois was about $3 and some change. And from Illinois to SC to GA was another $3 plus. With rates being the way they are I haven’t been taking many cheap loads. If I did it was to build with what I had.
@@atifqureshi010 I spent roughly 5k down on a 2020 dodge ram 3500 60k miles , 3600 down payment on insurance, $2000 down payment on a brand new Kaufman trailer . If you have good driving history and depending on ur age you maybe able to get a cheaper down payment. I’m only 21 so my insurrance is a bit higher than most
Please stop posting these videos… This is causing the market to sink… Keep your business to yourself… These videos causing too many drivers to enter the market driving down rates…
Bruh I’ve been watching hot shot RU-vidrs for the last 3 years and for 3 years y’all been saying the rates are low. Yet y’all keep making videos doing hotshots. 🤔
It fluctuates weekly. I just got back on the road and posted what I gross within 3 weeks. The area you live in plays a big role too. I’m in Atl right now and rates are trash as hell.
That’s how you feel. But in reality I’m keeping it real how the rates fluctuate. And if you watched the full video I explained how brokers don’t want to pay carriers.
