A huge money saver in my grocery budget is to make our own laundry soap 🙂 I make 5 gallons for a few bucks and it lasts over a year for my family of (almost) 5. I just refill an old detergent bottle. And then we use dryer balls in the dryer, so I don’t buy dryer sheets either. But no matter how frugal we are, these grocery prices are difficult! Good luck to you! Thanks for sharing. 🙂

I love that you thought of gifting the garlic to your friend. Thats a something I would love for someone to hand off to me!

The frozen garlic cubes are worth it. I do the same with roasted garlic for a more mellow flavor as well.

That jar of garlic will stay fresh forever. Use the fresh first and store the jar in your pantry until you use up the other.

Homeschool mom here and your grocery haul could have totally been mine (except I use chosen food mayo)- the majority being organic, simple mills crackers, but throw some pizza, spam and aldi cereal in there. I'd eat organic cheese, also but can barely afford what we do choose to eat. (Has to be aldi's because I avoid food dyes). I am also trying to eat veggies with my breakfast but don't have many ideas, unfortunately!

The stuffing is so good I bought 6 boxes of it

Me again:) I buy a 5 pound brick of Colby cheese from azure to shred up and freeze

If you want good money saving ideas on groceries, Tawra on Living on a Dime to Grow Rich has a lot of good ideas. I just say that since you said the money disappears. Aldi mayonnaise is good and I'm sure less expensive than brand name. I just don't buy dried mangoes anymore.
