Hoy os enseñamos las modificaciones mecánicas que le hemos hecho a nuestro JEEP Renegade 4xe. Es hibrido enchufable, es 4x4 y es nuestro fiel caracolillo en el que vivimos cuando viajamos. Y ahora está más preparado para afrontar nuestras futuras aventuras. Amortiguadores 2”, ganchos de remolque y rock sliders de la marca italiana Élite Off Road, y unos separadores Eibach de 20mm.

¿Que muelles has puesto para ganar la altura? los amortiguadores ya veo que son los de ELITE. Pero me gustaría saber tambien los muelles. ¿O ÉLITE vende el kit completo de muelles y amortiguadores? Quedó muy muy chulo

El kit de élite utiliza los muelles originales. Pero hemos cambiado todo el tema de amortiguación. El kit de Élite no es adecuado para los 4xe.

Pero la altura en un coche no la dan los amortiguadores. ¿Le habéis puesto suplementos? Es que solo los amortiguadores no me cuadra

La altura real y práctica la dan los neumáticos. Con los amortiguadores se puede subir y con los muelles, solo, también se puede subir. Mirate los Trekfinder (Alemania). Los adecuados y exclusivos para el Trailhawk 4xe te dan 2,5 centímetros.@@IVMA2316

Hola! I like your work, and I also like the modifications your Renegade modifications. In particular, I am considering to install the Elite suspensions on my Renegade TH 4xe MY21 (same model as yours, even the same color 😊). Do you have any comment about them? Apart from the height, is there any significant difference you noticed between the Elite and the original suspensions, in terms of comfort and stability, both on tarmac and offroad terrains? Gracias

Hi and thanks for watching. Perhaps the most noticeable change is that the driver's line assist is mosre aggressive. I usually turn it off because it look dangerous for me. To adapt the Elite system your mecanichanic should keep in mind that he will need the rear stabilizer bars of the TH 4x4 diesel and a longer 50mm diameter joint to join the last to join the last to sections of the exhaust pipe.

Muy buenas ideas. Cada vez esta mas guapo, los enganches y taloneras los hay para el compass th? Donde los conseguiste , , hay que homologar?. Muchas gracias

Muchas gracias. Creo que los amortiguadores +5 son compatibles con el Compass TH. Echa un vistazo a eliteespanaoffroad.webnode.es a ver que tienen para el Compass, aunque están muy centrados en el Renegade. De todas formas, ponte en contacto con ellos y te informarán de las posibilidades.

Hola Alex. Me alegra que te gusten las modificaciones. Lo hicimos en Talleres Martínez, en Alfajarín, Zaragoza. Y con el coche aboslutamente encantado.

Very nice video and car! I have a 4xe Trailhawk too, but haven't took it offroad yet. What do you think about the torque for offroad conditions? Do you have a basis of comparisson between the hybrid and the diesel versions? When the battery has low charge, do you think the powerloop function works well for the offroad? Curious to know your input since you do some serious offroad with the little jeep. Thanks!

TY for your comment. Since we made this video we have gone twice to Morroco and once to Western Sahara doing pure overlanding. Because we went alone (no other car with us), we did not do extreme offroading but we did the usual sahara offroad: sand dunes, dry rivers, beach driving, hundreds of miles of stone dessert tracks. Some experience on our backbag. Electric torque it is just perfect for offroad. The car start to push from the very begging. The powerloop works fine, but it begans to drink a lot of gas. Any way, after 7 weeks going down to Cancer tropic from Madrid and driving back in all conditions for more than 12.000 kms the gasoline consume was 8,9L/100km, which is not bad at all. But we have to carry and use 2 x 20l jerrycans since some times distance between gas stations was of 286 kms with interesting things to do and to see in the middle of the way. No issues by the way.

Somehow I've lost the notification. Thank you for your reply. I saw your trip to Morocco, you guys are great. I still haven't got off-road with the little jeep, just some easy snow trails in the Italian mountains this winter. I agree that the gas tank is a little small, but all in all, I'm happy with the little jeep. Let's see how it will behave throughout the years reliability wise, specially with the battery pack. Anyway, keep on rocking in your adventures! Cheers.

La itv con esas amortiguaciones, la podría pasar?? Cuánto ha sido el presupuesto de este cambio de amortización???

Hola Nuria. No, tanto la amortiguación como los ganchos y separadores tendrían que pasar homologación. Por desgracia, no te puedo decir precio de solo la amortiguación, ya que el mecánico y el ingeniero facturaron todo el conjunto. Ahora, por previsión de nieves pondremos unas un poco mas marcadas, pero nosotros no hacemos todo terreno y si muchas carretera y caminos y nos preocupa el consumo muchísimo, asi que unas ruedas AT como estas son.las mas equilibradas.

@@elvuelodelgrajo9131, lo decía también por tamaño. Unas un poco más grandes os facilitaría pasar zonas complicadas en caminos rotos. Ya tenéis hueco de sobra... Yo también uso AT y me sobran para el uso que doy a la "Tanqueta".
