From purely a practical level, you won't be able to see the TV from the two passenger seats. Could do with a microwave in the kitchen. Also a TV in the bedroom would be welcome, although there might've been a bracket on the wall to attach one that wasn't seen. Would like to have seen how the passenger seats convert in to a bed.
This Nick, love listening to you and your reviews, I didn't even know your did MOTORHOLIC so now I'm here for the first time being sucked in, Id only ever seen AQUAHOLIC, This is the 2nd MOTOR review today, I was interested in the Hymer as we have seen these out and about, and are still relatively low in height as we have kayaks, so I guess interesting things like can you put a roof rack, (subject to positioning of satellite dish), and info on the garage such as could you get 2 full size bikes in without taking the wheels. Engine techie stiff on miles per gallon. Off to watch another now 😵💫 Thanks Nick 🧡
Well with the continuing popularity of Sky Satellite television and Freesat as well across Britain and Europe, , hardly obsolete is it, plus why bother with Starlink as in Much of Europe, high speed 4G LTE is very competitively priced and Much Cheaper than Starlink. Just get a decent Router for it and pick up a cheap data SIM to pop in. Down in Andalucia for example, on the previous LTE standard, I was getting 300 to 330 mbs download bandwidth for 20 euros a month Latest LTE standard is up to 1,000 mbs, and I just have to do a a Router Firmware Update next time I'm there, to have that new standard. What potential buyers need to be aware of with a £90K used motorhome is the dealer paid someone about £70K for it. Hard to sell a high value vehicle like this privately and the dealers know it. Something I'm aware of because I have one (a motorhome, not a dealership!). So, you'll be told they hold their value but you won't benefit from this. In fact, the second you drive it out of their showroom, you've effectively lost about £20K so if the plan is to only have it for 2 or 3 years, it's an expensive luxury. Keep it for 7 to 10 years, then it starts to make a bit more financial sense.
People don’t just buy £90k 5 year old motorhomes they tend to buy on mass entry level brand new eldiss auto quests etc for £65-70k and keep them at least two three years and find the new price inflates by 5 per cent a year so the depreciation is minimal. The kind of person who buys this £90k one will know what they are doing and will keep for years…
If I have been travelling all day. I don’t want to sit all night in the driving seat. The alternative is a bench seat opposite which you definitely cannot relax in. These seats are for eating a meal. Not for me
Nice motorhome. I haven't watched one of these in a while (sorry!) I'm curious as to what a centre like this cleans, replaces or disinfects as it's a 2018 model, I presume used. Off hand, though I'm not in the market, I would instinctively prefer a lesser but new model for a given price - so I would think a formerly - used! one would need to be neat. This one looked brand new though. The seating and the mattresses especially. If not new, what was the mileage? I've missed something glaringly obvious, haven't I! 😃 * Not to worry. I followed the link. They follow a recognised cleaning standard and is fully sanitised. Can't see the mileage, but it must be low. Going now for £86k. By tomorrow maybe they'll pay me to take it! 😛
I've been in this actual van at the Hymer centre a couple of months ago, it's a nice van but 90k for a 5 year old van is really pushing it. I'd give them 75k tomorrow though.
Agreed. I cant see how any motorhome driven on a car licence can be worth 90k. I aim to retire a few years early sell the 3 bed house, and live in something similar, but i wont be paying that silly amount.
It's normal to have it on the side of the habitation door, otherwise you'd come out from inside and it would be behind you on the other side of the vehicle.
Sorry 90k for a fiat van with a sink and window I’d rather spend on alot of 5star hols, they not just overpriced but they hard work, just imagine turning up at your destination after hrs on round then getting all set up, stabilising legs down, pans out, kettle on and discover you no milk/tea coffee etc or the gas run out
If you'd rather spend on alot of 5star hols then you'd be well advised to spend on alot of 5star hols instead. Definitely. Motorhomes tend to be bought by people who want a motorhome. 🙂

@@MOTAHOLIC I had caravan for yrs but sold up after Covid due to sites being very busy which is not for me, a lot of sites don’t allow motor homes and I rarely seen any at our site, I suppose horses for courses, I’ll stick to hotels now but thoroughly enjoyed my caravan yrs
If this company ever came to America, they would kill it. Everything in America is overly expensive, by a massive amount, and most people would agree that 90% isn't worth what younget
