I had recorded this in late October, but we had some issues. Better late than never I suppose. I also do want to clear up a small mistake that As Nodt's needles simply need to touch you to affect you, but as I said, it wouldn't matter because higher reiatsu in most cases can nullify hacks. Additionally, I said Yammy is more powerful than Ulquiorra in terms of raw power/spiritual pressure, but it doesn't mean that he's not able to be defeated by the others. As discussed in Clyde's video, Ulquiorra has better mastery over Pesquisa, is much faster, and has more potent abilities that would help him defeat Yammy. I urge you guys to check out that video, because saying "aIzeN RaNKed tHeM" doesn't matter when simple scaling and guidebook information point towards Ulquiorra being the strongest overall due to the aforementioned factors. Thanks, guys! The Godzilla video will be out by the end of this month, so please stop asking and bullying me about it lol.

I honestly find Äs Nödt one of the coolest looking characters, just give him some angel wings, and he looks like an angel of death! While Ulquiorra Cifer is looking like a young version of Satan giving off this benevolent judgemental vibe. Both are in my top 10 characters of bleach!

Just because Yammi is physically stronger doesn't mean Ulquiorra's second release couldn't just fly up in the air and keep throwing Lanza del Relampago's at him...

Ulquiorra didn't even fear (he was puzzled/concerned) at the sight of Vasto Lorde Ichigo. As Nodt stands no chance if he can't strike fear in the hearts of his opponents much less Ulquiorra.

I LOVE Ulquiorra. I think his design was fine, but he captured my heart with the his last line on the show and it hit harder when we knew he was really dead. I think, however, that the research into Ulquiorra is much more extensive and his power outclasses others due to his fight against Vasto Lorde Ichigo. When it comes to "if he survived" I think we'd have a whole other character. Remember, it was because of the heart that Ichigo grew to get more powerful and clever genetics made it easier for him. Imagine the godly strength Ulquiorra would have if he grew to know the heart after his defeat! But, Äs-Nödt, though powerful, fought against the Reapers because of hatred. Tite's power scaling is based off of personal philosophy and the learning of the characters. Äs-Nödt and Ulquiorra were never going to win their battles. But, if they fought, given what they've learned and how they grew, Ulquiorra would always win. No matter how much Äs-Nödt tried.

In the end, the one who used fear the most...was the one who feared more than any of us.

Quincy are also especially weak to hollows if I remember correctly. Like their rieatsu poisons them or something like that. Masaki with White and Urahara making those hollowification pills for the captains are examples.

Interesting video. I really liked your analysis. But I think there's a few things you could have touched on. Are you positive As Nodt's "fear arrows" couldn't puncture Ulquiorra's skin? I think Espada's hierro is comparable to the durability of various Soul Reapers. Kenpachi vs Nnoitra made that pretty clear. In fact I think the arrows ignore durability anyway. When they're blocked by some sort of shield, you see this black "fear goo" seep through it. I think the attacks are unblockable. But that presents another question, can Ulquiorra even feel fear at all? It's true that As Nodt's abilities attack at the instinctual level rather than just the emotional, but the fact that Ulqiorra has never shown even the slightest modicum of fear (even when faced down with his own death) could signify that he has no fear instincts at all. He is biologically engineered for war, after all. Just something to think about. Then there's the fact that hollow reiatsu is "poisonous" to Quincy. An attack from Ulquiorra might damage him more than usual.

Ulquiorra. I am pretty sure "fear" Doesn't really apply because of just how apathetic ulquiorra is.

The scaling method kind of falls apart when you consider that Yammy could transform and fight at full power without destroying Las Noches, while Ulqiorra couldn't even use his first release without threatening to destroy Las Noches. Ulqiorra's raw stats should be relevant to Yammamoto, which no Sternritter should match (based on Ywach claiming that only he could take Yammamoto's Bankai)

I think that if As Nodt tried to have Ulquiorra feel fear he just wouldn't be able to comprehend it. There is nothing he fears so even if you projected fear unto him it wouldn't change the fact that he doesn't understand it and would just continue fighting anyway. At least that's what I think.

I disagree that As Nodt is as strong as Byakuya. Yes there are statements about the bankai theft requiring equivalent or comparable power. As Nodt is a hax based fighter. He never uses truly offensive powers and depends on debuffing. If he didnt have senbonzakura, I think Byakuya would have won.

As Nodt would’ve been beaten in the first invasion if Byakuya had his Bankai like cmon

Surprised you didnt mention that hollow powers are the quincy weakness. I forgot what chapter it was where it was implied but it was around when Toshiro and Soi Fon were getting their hollowfied bankais. (also would like an askin nakle var video in the future hopefully)

For the spiritual pressure nullifier, there ain’t no way ulquiorra has such a massive gap between himself an as-nodt to just ignore his powers, Aizen ignored suzumebachi(however tf it’s spelled) because his sp was so enormously out of soifon’s league

If the espada lived and went through the time skip theyd be op. I.E. Yhwach felt he himself had to go and defeat Hallibel himself. Grimmjow struck down one of the strongest sternritter THROUGH his bluet vayne. Nel took Kisuke and Grimmjow and Yoruichi from Askin's blown up out of control extremely powerful gift ball deluxe, something that Askin said was basically a death sentance and Kisuke trusted that Nel could take them out of a situation like that.

I believe Ulquiorra would win because of how strong he is and because there isn’t anything he fears. He also wouldn’t be bothered because he only believes what he sees and he can’t see fear.

Not saying who will win, but those who are saying Ulquiorra is without emotions are a little wrong. Ulquiorra felt emotions towards the end. Orihime was bringing it out of him the more they were around each other. It wasn’t big, but it started to happen. Even a little bit is all it takes.

Yammi was stronger than Ulquiorra, but he couldn't *use* that power properly because he was trash with Pesquisa and the other abilities. He was to the Espada what Ichigo was to the Gotai captains. So his combat prowess wasn't on parr with the likes of Ulquiorra. I mean, Vizard Bankai Ichigo couldn't even touch Ulquiorra with Getsuga Tenshou when Ulquiorra used his *first* resurrection, let alone his second. But he could cut Yammi. Even if the cut was inconsequential, the simple fact he could cut Yammi at all in his state at the time showed that Yammi simply wasn't at Ulquiorra's level. And to reinforce this, Gimmjow in TYBW says he became as strong as Ulquiorra (obviously only in first Resurrection as he didn't know about Segunda Etapa) and he could one-shot the likes of Askin in Volstandig. Yes it was a surprise attack, but Askin was in his gift ball deluxe, in Volstandig, and was strong enough to require 2 hits for Oh-Etsu when Oh-Etsu could kill Gerard in 1. Something not even post Squad 0 training Byakuya was able to do to a already defeated Gerard. What I'm saying is Ulquiorra don't need an amp to fight the likes of As Nodt.

Yeah I think if Ulquiorra had lived on to get stronger through out the series he would definitely be in the upper echelon of strongest characters in the Series.

Can't imagine Ulquiorra reaching Grimmjow's level since Grimm always strived to be the strongest and it make sense why he'd developed as much as he did to the point where he surpassed Nel and Halibel. Ulquiorra on the other hand was strong to begin with and didn't seem too interested in getting stronger. With that said he probably still would've been strong enough to handle Nodt if he developed at a relative rate to the other Espada, except for Grimm how just surpassed them and never looked back.

I haven’t even watched that much bleach, I just thought the guy ulquiorra was fighting looked cool and thought i could figure out the basics. I was so terribly wring i’m just very confused aahahahahaaaah. You seemed ti have researched it well enough though! If I had any suggestions I might try to describe how the fight could go in a more dramatic story way than an explanation around the end but thats just me.

Ulquiorra was hands down my favorite espada. I like how he was stronger than everyone and he would let them know it. Also, you should def do a vid on the strongest sternritter.

Ichigo beat Zaraki without a bankai and then proceeded to blitz Byakuya with said bankai after just learning it. Yammy being beat by both together is a bad feat. Its also really dumb to try and say they got more powerful since then considering they've been training for at least hundreds of years already. What is a couple more at most going to do? At best, Zaraki has his switching from 1-handed to 2-handed, but Byakuya has literally nothing new. In order for Yammy to be more powerful than Ulquiorra, Zaraki and Byakuya together would have to scale at least to, if not above, Vasto Lorde Ichigo which is absurd.

So long story short emokid is a beast.

Yammy is a really poor bench mark to scale character's off.

Considering two points stated by the author 1. Hell Verse Ulquiorra vs Hichigo is canon, and the originally intended fight sequence, but there was not enough time 2. Hichigo himself was transcendent level by Aizen when confronted by Dangai Ichigo. He also comments on his Reiatsu after fighting Ulquiorra, and we see Aizen has a mental image of their fight, and knew all that happened between them somehow. This Makes Ulquiorra Relative to a transcendent character, in canon. I personally describe Ulquiorra as a "Nigh-Transcendent" tier character. I would personally Say segunda Etapa Ulquiorra speed blitzes Askin, because Askin couldn't react to base form Byakuya or Renji and was getting knocked around a little despite being protected by Blut Vene. He also couldn't react to Royal guard training Rukia at all. Ulquiorra IMO is the 8th fastest character in the series, above the three mentioned based on the literal HOURS of feats Ulquiorra has in combat. I never understand how people just say "there was a power up after the time skip" when there literally was no canon statements about that. Several characters we know trained, including Byakuya, Renji, Toshiro and Rukia. OThers like kenpachi outright state they haven't fought anyone or done any training. Yet Base Kenny with eyepatch killed 3 sternritter with 0 damage, while Nnoitra brought him to the brink of death? Average sternritters are low/mid captain level. Starrk and Ulquiorra are roughly High captain/elite guard level, falling a bit short. For example I would say Starrk was superior to kyoraku in their fight. But against Lille Barro Kyoraku was bloodlusted from 1. Genryusai's death, and 2. his subordinates getting sniped in front of them. This emotional change affected the games his zanpaktou used. Shikai Kyoraku who fought Lille most likely would've been able to behead Stark, and he did NO training between arcs. Even then I would say Starrk could beat the femritters 5v1 based on his showing against Kyoraku, Ukitake, and the Vizards.

At first they seemed so real lmao, and yeah, if it's such a competition between ASS(yesisaidit) Nodt and Ulq's base form, then my best emo boi pretty much bodies (Also i would like to point out that Ulq might've been way stronger than estimated in this video too, considering he has far higher potential to grow than grimjow, and he never ate a hollow once, so i think he'd be defenitly at least top tier in terms of power if he was to survive)

Yammy didn't seem surprised by Ulquiorra's segunda etapa because he didn't sense it. It's not that Ulquiorra has better mastery of pesquisa than Yammy, it's that Yammy literally has zero to minimal ability to use pesquisa. Therefore, he is constantly underestimating his opponents which is why Ichigo effortlessly cut off Yammy's arm at the very beginning of the Arrancar arc despite Yammy being way stronger. Yammy also doesn't even recognize that Ulquiorra died after his fight with Vasto Lorde Ichigo. It's the equivalent of Frieza not being able to sense ki/power levels. So it's not that Yammy wasn't surprised, it's most likely that he didn't even know because he never uses pesquisa to sense reiatsu. That's not to say that it means Ulquiorra is stronger. The data books state Yammy has the most raw power, so that makes it not up for debate. I just wanted to say that Yammy had no clue what Ulquiorra's power was or anybody else's power was since he's really bad at pesquisa and probably can't even use it at all.

Not here to complain about who won and who lost or anything, I just want to make sure people know that after vasto Lordé fired a max power cero in Ulquiorra's face, he was still able to hop back up and cut vasto Lordé ichigo's mask, I'm mot sure what would happen had ichigo not been prevented from stabbing ulquiorra's throat, but I'm pretty sure if ulquiorra was still able to stand and attack after all his "vitals were destroyed" if he didn't have a ladt mineute change of heart I think he could've got a really solid hit in

Not watching the video cause YT's are fools, but literally the base stenritter stomp the Arrancar....the power creep in the last arc is way too much and even in the Espada arc all of the Arrancars got slapped around. He really doesn't even need his schrift hear (which would still affect Ulq).

Ulquiorra would win this. Though sternritter are usually trickier to fight than Espada. Very few sternritter use straightforward techniques so they are harder to use in comparisons

Ulquiorra contends with half shihaksho white (if you go by hellverse movie which tite kubo says is his vision for the fight) which is honestly enough to beat as nodt here. Kenpachi and byakuya beat Yammy because he's dumb and is clearly incapable of making use of his massive reiatsu. I hate when people say Yammy is stronger . It was shown that ulquiorra second release was hidden from even aizen. When ichigo states that he knows ulquiorra is powerful he says “nonsense” and transforms proving to ichigo that he was more powerful than he thought. Considering a release grants the user a x10 power increase I mean you do the math. Ulq x10^2= second release. He’s multiplying his original release by ten . It’s like having a second bankai upgrade , he’s fucking powerful . Just look at the nukes he drops . Wtf is yammy gonna so about those nuke lances? Nothing. Btw byakuya and zenpachi weren’t going all out they were kind of playing with yammy .

Going by that logic, seeing how little trouble Byakuya AND Kenpachi had against Yammi, they have to be clearly above Shunsui and Ukitake, since they both had somewhat of a harder time against Stark, who is clearly trash compared to Yammi, right? You mean to tell me, Byakuya and all of the captains, who have lived for hundreds of years and had reached a certain level of strength over these same years, can just casually become twice as powerful within just two years?.
