I was 10 years old, it was early august and my dad was on the phone and I overheard him saying that my grandmother was diagnosed with liver cancer, I didn't think much about it and I did not see anything wrong for a bit. But then late august I started noticing that my grandmother wasn't looking to well. She looked tired and sick. But when me and my sisters were around her she was pretty much her normal self. The signs started to pick up mid September and she began going to the hospital many times. The last time she came to my house she lost all of her hair. My great grandma also came from Mexico to take care of her. Every time my dad came home he would give her long hugs. Which I had never seen before. A few days before she left back to the hospital she told me that no matter what, she would be ok. It was a rainy day and she suddenly left to the hospital for the last time and I never got to say my goodbye. And I never saw her again, alive. I kept hearing my parents talking to people saying how she couldn't move anymore and how she was on the last stage of cancer. October 31st I went trick o treating with my dad and we were going to pick up my great grandma from the hospital because she was watching my grandma. But she said her gut felt like she needed to stay. And so we had a fun time trick or treating. A few days passed. I woke up 6 am on November 3rd ready to go to school but I felt really sick and had a fever. So just my 2 sisters went to school. Then I woke up 5 hours later, opened my room door, only to see my mom and dad crying, my grandma back from the hospital also crying. And my mom just called my school to tell them what happened. They told me that last night she fell asleep and never woke up. It took a few seconds to process what just happened. And I fell on the ground crying. My sisters came home and we told them. We all cried for over 30 minutes as the flashbacks kicked in. 13 days later on November 16, it was her funeral. They open the coffin for my sisters, cousins and I. My heart dropped. I sat back down as the bells rang just staying perfectly still, replaying all of the memories in my head. It had been a few hours, there was many of her friends and family there, and we were about to leave. So I said my last goodbye's to her. This song reminds me of her. I hope your doing well in heaven. I lost my cat, my son, my best friend of 11 years yesterday unexpectedly and I’m in so much pain right now. He was the first pet I’d ever own at 19 and from the moment I had him at just 2 months old, he brought peace and joy throughout my entire chaotic 20’s where I had witnessed losing my dad at 23, going through a downward spiral at 25-28, to finally forgiving myself in the past and being present to move forward at 30. He was there for me just like I was there for him until the very end. This was the hardest thing I had to do more than losing my father because I was stoic and didn’t feel nothing physically when he passed, and yet I loved him so much. But with Milo, the moment they put him on the table minutes before putting him to sleep so I can say my goodbyes, I completely lost it. This is a pain I’ll be healing from for a while, but I’ll get through it somehow, he’d like that for me just as I wanted him to be free from his suffering. I remember this bc of a friend of mine, he had come home to hearing is mom and father saying that they wanted to but him up for adoption. He was 15 at the time, they said word such as "he just keeps giving us trouble, we just don't care about him anymore. My friend recorded it all and showed it to me, i was heart broken to hear it, my friend always listens to this song every day, i said that it wasn't healthy to live a life of depression, but it didn't matter, about 3 months after the incident he took his own life. And to any parents out thier who may read this or ppl who are about to become parents, plz understand that the prize of raising a child isn't to get money or be famous or even just have one just bc u want to. The prize is to see ur child be happy loved and safe. Even if they may care about u, the true prize is happiness.

My dog was my first best friend. Ever since i was even a year old, he would come and sit beside me, and I would hug him. Unfortunatley my dog passed away. No matter how long its been, i still keep a photo of him in my room, and i keep his collar hanging on my wall with a cross above it. My dog was the best buddy i could ever have. This song reminds me the guy I had a situationship with. He liked to hear it before falling asleep. The day he explained this to me, we were listening to this same song. Every time I hear it, I think of him, of how happy and childish I was around him and the incredible moments we spent together. But I also think of how bad it ended between us and how mean he has been on that specific moment. It has been 5 months now that this happened, and I'm still trying to figure out how things got so bad so quickly in vain...I guess that's life, but it makes me sad every damn time because regardless of what happened I still love him... This song also reminds me of my ex fiancé. I had to be the bravest I had ever been at the time to end it, despite what others would think, canceling the wedding, etc. Even though this happened years ago, there’s still damage I’m sifting through and I usually have negative associations with that relationship. This song has helped me remember some of the wonderful aspects that loving someone for a season can bring and I’m processing the loss a lot better now. He loved listening to atmospheric songs in high tech headphones that he would excitedly share with me. We would go antiquing, explore museums, run around downtown in the wintertime wearing our vintage inspired attire and blast songs like this in our long car rides together (mostly in the evening), watching the snow as it swung up and over the windshield, fully immersed in the moment. Looking back, those moments are still beautiful, and I can revisit them with gratitude any time I want to. Despite the harm, I really do wish him well. I hope he heals in his own time and does good to others the rest of his life here. I want to do good to others, too, always growing. Past trauma, regrets, and doubt is constantly plaguing my mind. I have no more money, foodstamps, or any type of currency. All my friends are dating, getting married and starting their family. Yet, I constantly find myself not moving forward. Theirs always something that keeps setting me back. I even went through training for a career I thought would be best for me. Nothing is working out in my favor and I don’t know how long I can hold on.
I got hired a month ago doing what I went to school for. Wasn't to far from my house, and the best part was the pay. Unfounaterly I got laid off a month into my new job because they couldn't afford to keep me. We would spend every second together. She was fun to play, always giving her belly pats and rubs, I was never the same when she died, I used to be more happy, cheerful, and enthusiastic, but when she died, my mood chanced to, sadness, non-enthusiastic, depressed, and not so talkative. Actually, it does matter. I lost my toy persian in 2019. She was my best friend. I have not yet recovered and I doubt I will. I can't seem to stop coming back to this video. It fills a hole in my heart that I didn't know existed, and as the chorus rings out and reverberates against the walls of the narrow corridor of our lives, we all seem to stop and stare into space. The immaculate hymn and hum once sung by angels and far-dead souls of our world are given a rebirth. The previously lifeless robotic voice is given a brief sentience, that sentience being this song. Now, my brothers and my sisters, even though we may not be related, we are ever closer than ever as we listen to this song. This song summons a far-distant and forgotten memory within all of us. Even though we may not be given the chance to correctly remember it, we remember it in spirit. The long-gone angels and far-forgotten peoples whose names are forgotten, all come together one last time to sing this song. The dead and dying gods smile and sing along as this song continues to be sung out. But for those who still breathe the air on our earth, we aren't forgotten. We are there too, singing songs and having a joyous chorus. We sing in the choir of gods creations. Even though we may not realize it, our flaws and imperfections add to the choir, they make us who we are, and what we are is perfectly imperfect. A tear is shed for those who cannot remember, and for those who won't. But for those out there, contemplating ending their own life, think twice my long distant friend. POV: It's late at night, you're in your room, listening to this song. You get up from your bed to open the blinds. You see snowflakes falling on the street but one one's around, not a single person. You grab your headphones and walk down downstairs and outside your one-bedroom apartment. You stand in the middle of the road where no car or any human can be seen since almost 2 AM. You stare up at the sky. Snowflakes fall on your sweater and your hair. it makes you shiver but you love the cold wind blowing on your face, you think about how much you'd enjoy if you had someone in your life. You stand there and a few tears roll down your bright red cheeks. You feel sad but you enjoy the aura and the cold wind swaying your hair around. You close your eyes for a few seconds then wipe your tears away and decide to not grieve over the fact you have no one to care about, so you walk around and play in the snow with a small smile on your face, not caring about all the problems in your life. Not that good of a writer but I just wrote about something I experienced.

This song is a gracious cocktail of comfort, nostalgia, and some sadness, yet overall peaceful. It reminds me of my mom and also reminds me how I need to reach out to God whenever I feel down. There is hope in this song

It was easter sunday, i used to work for a grocery store at a young age. An older lady who came into my line never spoke to me. I always looked for her, and one day i felt something was off. I wanted to step aside and talk with her to find out what it was but i was the cashier. On an easter sunday i had a vision where she is pointing out on top of a boat ramp where she was located on an easter sunday. I wanted to race to her but my vehicle was blocked in by family and never went. Years later at the same location i found her vehicle submerged underneath the water. It was a white vehicle 14 feet underneath the water. I came to the surface and my parents didn't believe me. Years afterwards, a dive team found her and pulled her out. I never stop to think about her. Her family did not like her, but i had no problem with her. Ironically she came to me i feel because she wanted to say goodbye.
