Polo is also criticized for some road noise. To tell you the truth, it can also be a matter of the tyres fitted...VW come with usually some soft shitty tyres like kumho or nokian which roll very noise free but bridgestone or pirelly or continental on the hold department they aren't. Wind noise...that can be from very evident to very subjective. Best thing to do is start your own measuring procedure, get a good calibrated noise meter, and measure them in certain speeds (verified on the gps). Differences less than 3dbs may be almost insignificant on the ear for some people or may annoy others if they are sensitive to those.
I'm in the market for a new car this year. In Poland prices are ridiculous for a new Fabia or Polo. But I will buy one anyway over a Fiesta, for example. I'm over 50 and not a boy racer any more. I'd prefer the DSG. The Fabia wouldn't be too loud if you have 16-inch wheels and normal tyres. I know it's only an anecdote, but I had a VW Up! and it had slightly better soundproofing, and now I have a Skoda Citigo, which was a lot cheaper but is slightly louder. But apart from that, there is no difference. I would buy the Fabia over a Polo.
@@JRCarReviews narucio sam je pred 2 tj, 1.5tsi, dsg, 150ks, godinu dana moram cekat cca, nisam nigdje nasao tocno info za to unutarnje osvjetljenje. Jedino za skok cijene me zanima, ja cu vjv dobiti onda 2022.model? Citao sam da ce ovaj 2023.skociti cijena dosta
I have the same model, in graphite gray. I stepped up from the 2014 model Red&grey. To summarize: a huge disappointment, not worth the extra price. PRO: - Led lights are stunning (vision is excellent) - comfortable to drive and quiter (yeah, it's your tyres that are noisy I guess) - virtual cockpit is customizable - boot is a bit bigger CONS: - infotainment is a disaster! Really ruins the experience. Each time you turn it on you have to agree to 2 disclaimers you cannot disable. User interface is clunky. - rear cam is awful! Poor resolution and cannot be adjusted (you can each time but as you turn off the car it resets). - air conditioning: weak and tricky to operate (mostly digitally). Buggy interface. - only 2 usb type C sockets: no regular USB, no card slot. They are placed in an unfortunate position. In Switzerland no extra plug near the rearview mirror for s dash cam (port is disabled). I cannot use my Garmin as the 12volt port is inside the armrest. - engine is weaker (altgough it should be the same 1.0 110 cv as previous) It could have been a terrific car as the previous one was, that's why I despise Skoda. A$$h*l€$
