Chicken pie recipe, in crispy filo-dough, stuffed with moist chicken, light and aromatic bechamel sauce, cream cheese, elephant ear mushrooms, all bake in a crunchy golden filo-dough pie, sprinkled with cayenne pepper.
The ingredients for our recipe are:
1/2 kg of filo-dough
1 kg of boil chicken, shredded in small piece.
(boiled with: bay leaves, nutmeg, black pepper, salt, curry powder, mustard powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper)
400 gr of cream cheese (light)
250 gr of mushrooms, cut in medium piece
1 lt of bechamel sauce (below is the link for this recipe)

The preparation of the stuffing:
First we boil and cook our chicken pieces, with our spices and we keep the brough for soup recipe. We clean and cut into small size pieces.
then, we prepare our bechamel, and onto the warm bechamel, we add the cream cheese and fuse well. Then we add to it the chicken pieces, mix and set aside.
Into a non stick pan, with a bit of water, we sauté the mushrooms till they are golden in color, then we add the salt and pepper, remove from the fire. We add the Mushrooms into the Bechamel batter, and allow the entire sauce to cool down. (preferably till the next day.)
The preparation of the pie:
We take one leaf of the filo dough, fold it in two, place the stuffing in a thin long line, then roll the dough and form a round pie shape.
We place onto a baking try, we oil with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper or sweet paprika, then bake into a preheated oven at 185 C for 30 minutes, till golden in color.
