Hello everyone, just to clarify, using KG’s save editor I’ve made the following changes. Reset all weapon/shields to level 1 Added all burdens. Transmogged Onslaught Shield to have the appearance of the Spartan Aspis shield. Unlocked all Weapon skills. Transmogged sorrow of Sparta gear to look like survival gear. I tried to make this fight as flashy and cinematic as possible by adding several lines of dialogue for heimdall, making sure i was in the right positions for the cutscene transitions and using various high risk flashy combos/moves. I was sure not to use any of Draupnir’s detonation/duplication abilities in the first phase against Gultoper as canonically speaking, Kratos would not want to reveal the full extent of Draupnir’s abilities till it was time to fight heimdall himself. Hope you enjoy.
Not only are you really good at God Of War, you made me able to hear more rare dialogue from Heimdall. And the part where you hit him before he could say "miss" was perfect lol
Tips for einherjar: With the gold helmet dudes you can get rid of the element helmet for good with a headshot. For teleporting variants your best start is to use trips or launchers to get rid of boots temporarily, very good since it makes it so that they can’t escape you and punish you, since einherjar are a very difficult enemy type in this game. With einherjar warrior, if you want to be “stylish” you can charge up the axe, switch to blades and go back to axe which will ALWAYS launch him. Which allows you to dispose of him very quickly. And if any einherjar brute has teleportation boots, you can use aim hood R1 to always launch them if you aim at dem boots. In general try to avoid bifrost(it can put you in a huge hitstun and is generally best avoided). Einherjar archers big blasts(especially the teleporting variant) can be dodged easily with clever use of cover. There is a mechanic in this game(game doesn’t tell you) where certain enemy types are weaker to certain elements. For einherjar, it’s sigil arrows. You can DESTROY them with digit arriws since while most enemy’s take 3 to 4, einherjar only take 2 and once you have them sigiled you can use blades aim R2 to fully sent them on fire(Sicilian arrows also have a mechanic so that if you lets say, burn someone while hexed, it will amplify it by,for the case of burn let’s say, launch the enemy and launch some other enemy’s nearby which is especially useful for hel walkers with since burn is buffed when used against them). The shield ones can get their shields taken away in a lot of ways, wether it be death from above, triangle attack with axe, sigil arrows and some more. Best is sigil arrows imo since it fully hexes them. Death from above would be second best. Should note the way that shield works compared to others is that it’s based around staggering so stuff like health/rage stones can also get rid of it. Another thing the game doesn’t tell you about einherjar is how they can counter attack knockbacks with a unblockable attack, usually takes 4 but it’s more fun if you don’t count since it just becomes tedious and overdoing it. If you hit their masks it deals 35 percent stun damage, so while not the most useful thing ever, it can be useful at times but pretty negligible. Back to einherjar warrior, the best shield to use against him is stone wall, due to the fact you can’t parry him, which on paper sounds bad is actually to your advantage since it means he can’t counterattack you and due ti his constant combos, it builds up the shields meter fast and if you use the AoE, it always launches him. Also, if they do counterattack or use any blue circle attack in general, do not interrupt it, instead back off and charge the axe real quick(they luckily don’t slide with that attack). Also when they use their combo with the double sword parryable attacks if you dodge side ways you will dodge it.
That Guardian Shield paired with the Spear is Ghost of Sparta Vibes right there. Especially when he deflects and things go slow mo. Great display of aplomb, persistence and skill as usual. Loved how smooth you made it.
@@TheTrueTyrannosaurusRex Onslaught shield. It just made him look like an aspis. If you read his own pinned comment, he explains it himself. In addition to that there is a moment when an onslaught shield type attack is seen during combat (8:29)
Tips for parrying, in raggy they made it so that if you black while a enemy is attacking, krate will continue to block. There is a trick to this however, with certain enemy combos like let’s say, einherjar captain with a hammer spin combo, if you hold block and and L1 for parry, it will always parry him breaking that combo which can jail you.
Btw, I think teleporting einherjar have a revenge value of 4 hits, if you hit them 4 times or over but don’t continue the combo they will teleport away. Runic attacks and aiming for that weakpoint reset it.
2:26 WTF WAS THAT?!? You can do a charged shield bash like the luck shield with aspis?!? How did I do so many burdened spartan challenge and never known this 😵
I can explain, so using KG’s save editor i was able to mod the onslaught shield to have the appearance of the spartan aspis shield. That’s how i did it.
Yes I added 4 lines in total which can be heard at 4:06 , 6:18 , 9:55 and 10:06. Sadly most of these lines do not play in gameplay but are included in the games files, I figured I’d include them in my video as they’re just too good not to use.
You can launch a wulver with triangle slam outside if their attack animation and before the transform. This allows for MANY ringout opportunities and such. I have to find a consistent combo similar to einherjar warrior to always launch them. Pretty sure they are weaker to sonic arrows, so that could work. Also you can cancel their transformation with a runic attack. That also works against berserga mothers when spawning aids(although you can also use the axe frost spike for those assholes, but less consistent). There is more to them but that’s the general consensus.
@@RAGE-OF-SPARTA-X Thanks for the compliment! I just really like the enemy design in raggy a lot, think it’s the 3rd best in the series in that regard(1 and 2 are a bit better imo).
Such epic fashion/style. Think I might start a playthrough with that mod down the road. Is there a similar one for the 2018 GoW? Original looks of weapons and such?
I don’t think I’ll ever do a lvl1 run. While it seems some of the bosses may shine here, the enemy encounters would just be shallow since all of the tech in the game would go out the window. I really don’t understand why they made it like this.
No unfortunately, i wish they were a thing, i plan on doing an experiment in the future to see who if Gna or Sigrun has more health, hopefully in that experiment i can figure out a constant variable to determine damage. Also, Gna is finally defeated, I finished the fight tonight, the video will be out soon, stay tuned brother.
It depends on the enemy type I believe, if it’s a smaller/low level enemy I believe it will initiate the grab animation, that said, if it’s a boss, I think it will trigger the hex explosion.
@@RAGE-OF-SPARTA-X I know the at of course, I’m talking about the enemy type that is grabbed, wouldn’t that cause the hex explosion still if it doesn’t kill?
Yes, you can also use the triple impaling thrust then press triangle and you will transition into the 2nd to last strike of the default spear melee combo. Draupnir is extremely versatile in terms of its combo capabilities. I’m gonna show off a lot of new combos for all the weapons in my next vid, working extra hard on it.
@@Omar8181 it’s not finished yet, i can fee i am very close to beating Gna while showcasing all of the skills/combos i want to use. I feel as though within the next 3 days I’ll have beaten her. Either way I’ll keep all you guys updated.
