Awesome video! Just wanted to add one point about the meta build for the RPK-16. The Scorpius and the RK-3 pistol grips have the same amount of ergonomics on them, and are both the BIS AK grips. While the RPK cannot equip the Scorpius, it can equip it's brother, the RK-3. So there's no need to take the -1 ergo hit and go for the saw style grip.
Yep, you can get the RK-3 but after seeing the buff to the SAW grip I think it's kinda worth it to just save the extra 4K and stick with the SAW until the scorpius unlocks.
I would actually disagree with one point. as the rpk is registered as a machine gun in game it's kinda a trap because you would rather have the stats put into assault rifle proficiency which whill help all ars. IMHO the rpk is worse for that.
Interesting point. I use the others more simply because I have them already but I'd always go for the RPK given the choice. Never considered the skill levelling.
Nice summary few things to add. The RPK trader deal from Prapor level 3 is 3 weapon parts and 2 blue gunpowder. These can be crafted quite easily from the workstation, or bought off the flea for about 60K total. The advantage of the trade is that you get the 96 round mag with it, which can be either used, or sold to mechanic for 19K making the trade better than the flea for getting the RPK. the AFG foregrip can be got from mechanic level 1 with his MP-133 tactical trade - again the parts are cheap of the flea, and selling the shotgun back to him after taking off the AFG is cost netural - free handgrip for budgeteers! for the budget AK74m another option is the AK-100 polymer foregrip from Prapor, that will take a foregrip (not the AFG) and a tactical device, and is a lot cheaper than the RSA, you drop 1 recoil for the change. 5.45 ammo is in a rough spot right now because BS and Igonlik fill the same role in they 3 tap torso people. I'd say BT is the best budget round in the game but the AK/RPK will lose out in straight shootouts vs meta guns like the MP7A and M4 due to their higher tier ammo 2 tapping, higher rate of fire and lower recoil!
Great video! One thing worth mentioning is you can break down a cheap vpr hunter into 2x weapon parts and use that to make 2x ak-74m with just a few cheap prapor parts. It works out to be about 9000 rubles per ak-74m!
As always, great video. Thanks for your work, keep them builds flow. I've got something to add to your lvl 2 traders builds. You are using rk 4 for 9k. It is -2 recoil and +4 ergo. You can often buy some magpul afg grips for less then 9k on flee, and they are -2 recoil and +6 ergo. For the downside, you can end by buying it in some weird color, so overall build will look like trash, but hey, beggars cant be choosers at lvl 2 traders after all. Edit. Forgot to mention one interesting possibility for mid tier ak builds, which is ufm krebs custom handguard. It's often on a flee for 11-15k (for whatever reason), got pretty decent stats, but demand special gas tube and looks kinda crappy (but you know, stats is stats).

For the mid-tier 74m build it's worth looking at the barter trade at mechanic LL3, one military cable + 6 malboro cigarettes for a 74m fully kitted with zenitco parts. All you have to do is swap the muzzle break, then slap on a foregrip, sight and laser
One one the best features of the AK-74M is that you can make it for almost nothing in your hideout. Put a few basic mods on it and you have yourself a decent stats AK for around 50,000
For your mid teir 74M build, I'm a lil disappointed you dont go for either the VS-24 or the VS-33 handguards, they offer better recoil, or the (UMF something I forgot) that goes with the kiba gas block, comes In at 3% recoil and better ergos, and alot cheaper than b-33 dust cover setup and goes with the reg bastion. And because the ergo is naturally so high with the 74m I think you can get away with just a pp19 pistol grip. Anyway great vid liked subbed
Those handguards are all great, but in one way or another locked behind Level 4 traders (for rails for attachments or purchase) I like them, but for these series I try going for items easily available at certain trader levels.
A few days ago, Bastion dust cover, RP-1, TT AKM adapter, cobra are now sold at skier LL 1, so you can access it from the start, along with other mods being moved to their associated LL 1 trader. Most notably jaeger selling OP SKS and the dovetail at LL 1, the 7.62 Vepr, and the 366TKM one, along with EKO at LL1 aswell, also the patriot mount and the PU scope are also sold at LL 1 jaeger or prapor... i think there is a good time for a new video on fresh wipe builds for that.
Great builds. The rpk slaps everyone! I always start it with the 90 rnd clip and just spray entire teams down then throw the mag on the ground. If anyone wants a good time rush dorms with 90rnd rpk and just spray n pray baby 🙏
Hit filing cabinets hard. I have found a few dozen in filing cabinets and safes this wipe. I struggled with flash drives last wipe when they were basically only in computers and set spawn locations. Good luck.
i also had that problem, i forgoto to save tem in the begining of the wipe, and i have prapor and therapist maxed out i have all that juicy loot but still have peacekeeper lvl 2, but im almost finishing the last task tha will give me enough rep to at least get me to lvl 3. I wish I had more time to play this game.
Honestly I grab a AKM slap a bastion and a weaver sight on it maybe the cheap handguard that fits a grip and laser depending on my budget. Full build has 82 vert recoil which isn't that bad if you got some decent recoil control just the initial kick can force you off target

I love BT rounds but I hate the tracers as I play solo. The BP rounds are more expensive and have slightly lower pen which shouldn't be a big deal but being able to pen level 4 reliably is so important. If only there was 5.45 ammo that was similar to M855A1 and not a 14 pen gap between BT and BS.
bastion dust cover now give recoil reduction now, so i will say caa rs+bastion is more cost effective then b10m combo. RK-1 only give 3% recoil while RK-5 give 2% and is about 13K cheaper. TBH I think the best budget will be CAA RS+bastion+rk-5+rubber pad+RRD-AC. AK series dont worth even mid tier build imo , 59or62or64 recoil make nearly no different on ak.
@@JDogth3Wise I don't know. I just put on the lowest possible recoil mods on each AK and that one came out on top. Not for budget. Who knows, maybe they updated attachments since then.
The recoil from the 2nd shot i the ak 5.45 platform makes the guns unusable for me. The RPK on the other hand is super nice and have had pretty surprising raids with it.
He probably doesn't use them because hes got enough brains to be able to make money so doesn't need to use them, unlike some that complain about budget builds :p
I made a few budget builds earlier and they pretty much looked like this (except the krebs handguard was one of them), you don't have a crazy amount of options with BUDGET guns, post a better build or kick rocks.
