A few things... I was wrong about flea market being 20 this wipe, I remember now that it is level 15 this wipe, however this does not change my opinion on the ZSh-1-2m. When I mention the Killa helmet and Maska are the same thing. Shattered facemask would be A tier because its cheap and I love the idea of an RP airsoft mask bouncing AP ammo. Hjelm was that new Helmet I mentioned, it would probably be B or C tier due to the fact that it is more expensive but is similar to a ratnik.

Using almost any UN armor is like using a flashlight but you still can't see the dark

Untar helmet is best for uncoordinated new teams. Everyone wears one and you dont have to wonder who is enemy

The ratnik is just better than ssh since it's most of the time just cheaper if you do the barter trade plus the minor stuff like ergo and turn speed is better than the ssh plus night vision

You’d be surprised how many people mistake the ratnik for an altyn at a glance. People just don’t go for headshots if they think you have an altyn

Surprisingly, i've had great luck with UN armor. When you're starting out, it's an awful armor to wear but when you play defensively they won't see you first and you can take them out just fine. Wouldn't always recommend it based on what you're doing. Sniping or waiting in a field, it's an awful choice but wearing it at night nobody can see colors very well like that from far away if you're not standing in light.(I am sure it's possible, but i'm speaking from my experience) makes great use in factory on night raids where you're bringing a gun with a big light or a budget loadout. If you're shining the sun at someone, doesn't really matter if you wear blue or pink they will at least see your outline more likely than not. As in the real life, your kit changes based on your mission.

The Altyn irl is made of titanium, and I've seen it stop every type of handgun round including 5.7x28, which is meant to be armor piercing

Lshz -2dtm is a goddamn lifesaver. It's been my primary helmet this wipe If I'm wearing level 4 armor or budget level 5 armor. Sure it doesn't save you from any of the high powered rifles but a lot of people are still out there running SMGs/shotguns. making you an immortal God. It can even save you from things such as BT or 6A1 some of the time since the helmet won't completely block the round but it'll absorb just enough damage where you don't get one shot

Peacekeeper: So you need to kill all these scavs while wearing the most useless and bright armor possible. Have fun on shoreline

Tc2000 series can also use the class 5 slap, and the bastion extra armor is only like 40-45k on flea last I checked this wipe

Tagulla mask is my favorite. If you expose the back of your head to the enemy, you’ve already lost

so… ears protection wasn’t even mentioned once? i feel like it’s a pretty important attribute to a helmet, especially with things like the EXFIL, airframe, bastion etc that lack ears unless you sink money into mods, and it’s the reason i personally will take a ULACH any day over any of those helmets, because you can actually get shot in the ears from the front, even through a face shield

Face shields are mostly riccochet chance, The FAST MT with trooper mask gets that riccochet without glass fogging of screen so good on dark maps like interchange.

I don’t wear helmets solely for the fact that headshots when wearing a helmet scare the SHIT out of me.

The Ratnik is actually around 20-25 k because of the bleach trade. So its just better than the Penis helm for cheaper or close to it in price. Plus no ergo debuff, plus i can use tacsports with it. Ratnik>Penis helm

UNTAR is good for friendly recognition. If you have 4-6 medium geared people using it can make it way easier to identify friendlies. I’ve seen squads use them for that purpose.

nice vid! i often especially earlywipe take weight in consideration cause of carrylimits minmaxing .tc800 is ultralightweight. the tk fast mt replik is often cheaper for nightvisionmounting and offers reflectchance compared to the nonhelmetmounts for NVGs. cheers

Could you please do an extremely serious backpack tier list? I like the G2 Gunslinger cause it has a perfect 2x3 slot for a car battery, allowing you to loot on your way to toss the battery into the ocean.

6b47 has high ricochet chance and nearly halved negative stats compared to the ssh. ssh is -2% movement, -8% turning, -13% ergo and 6b47 is -1% movement, -5% turning, and -2% ergo. 6b47 can also be obtained from scavs often and can be obtained via ox bleach trade which generally sits between 8-14k roubles making the helmet cost anywhere from 16-28k roubles. 6b47 is a better helmet than ssh and you cannot change my mind.

Im guessing someone has already said this but incase someone hasnt just wanted to let you know the aventail on the 2dtm is class 5, its actually a pretty nuts helmet but still not sure if its worth it with the amount you need to put into it to make it that good.

My general rule of thumb regarding the Ssh and the GB47: when I am running a shitty gun, I use the Ssh. When I use a decent gun, I use the GB47, since it has better ergo.

When you were bashing on the LZSh, since I use it mainly for stylepoints, I actually said out loud in it's defence "it looks pretty cool", and had to lol a bit at you saying the exact same words literatlly 0.1 seconds later xD aaaand now I'm that crazy guy that talks to himself and tells people about it. nice!

The lzsh is Bae just like the fast mts you can have a full face shield ear protection and nvgs all at the same time, their the most slept on helmets

With the new ballistics system level 3 helmets are actually even more worth running now, 6B47 and ULACH is king imo, high ric, ear protection and good ergo.

During my first wipe I managed tp reach the mission where peacekeeper asks you to use untar gear to kill scavs and quickly dubbed them the cursed helmet and armor due to how trash and visible they were. Fast foward to this wipe and while I'm playing with a friend I find the cursed helmet in a buried stash, which I obviously threw away immediately. My friend went and equipped it against my complaints, stating that at the very least it was a worth a few rubles. Not even 10 minutes later he gets stuck in the collision of a random fence simply by walking near it. "Told you it was cursed" "Okay, I believe you now."

You forgot to talk about some of the helmets like the ssh have no ear protection which is really important Also the TC-800 is a solid helmet if you have the faceshield unlocked and don't want to spend 160k on a fast MT

People like the LZSh because once you get the samples buy option for the multi hit(~40k at pk4) it’s the cheapest way to get near full head with headphones protection for only ~70k

Idk how the Fast MT (Replica) is E tier. It literally doesn’t protect against anything, all the F tier ones give more protection.

What's nice about the Ronin is that it is the only helmet in the game that not only gives you eye protection but full face and ear protection while allowing night vision. It is unironically really good when doing night raids on factory, customs, and lighthouse and has saved me a few times on woods. Against players, yea your dead but that's gonna be most helmets and unlike all other face shield in the game it doesn't obstruct your vision at all. But if your going on raids against ai in the cover of night it's become one my my favorite helmets. Also the ricochet seems better.but I loot it every time I have never bought it. For some reason many times It has stopped 7.62 ps rounds. Maybe it's just really lucky rng considering a few days ago I was one tapped through my ulach (full health tier 4) with a single shot of ps gzh... I was pretty mad about that.

I absolutely love the Bastion helmet. Don't know why, but just looks really cool and is a pretty good helmet overall.

The sfera not only looks like a cabbage but is a cabbage it gives the same protection as a cabbage,same hearing capabilities as having cabbage in your ears and same look as a cabbage Best helmet to look like a guy that is mind controlled by a cabbage

Vulkan-5 is a meme helmet in Russian law enforcements AFAIK. Razvedos (known Russian ex-officer of SF unit) once was telling a joke, one part of which was a guy openning door and seeing officers wearing those things in front of him.

tc 800 is the cheapest tier 4 that can equip the fast mt face shield, its my go to helmet since i completed samples

I think you forgot to add the HJELM helmet to the tier list it’s level 3 and it has a honeycomb design on it

You can also use the air soft helmet to craft a real fast MT

TC-2002 was my go to, cause they were way cheaper than any other good T4 option. It saved me many, many times that C3 wouldn't have

The ssh saved me 4 times this wipe 3 times from sniper scavs and somehow I survived with a blacked head 1 team kill from a 545 bp

The top tier ammo is way more rare this wipe with the flea market changes. Mid tier equipment is now way more effective, everyone is just rocking normal stuff now. Crazy gear and rounds are super rare. like they should be, even a month in.

I once picked up a ronin helm in a scav factory raid and didn’t know that it protects the entire head, and a traitor scav shot me in the back of the head with a shotty, I wipped around and dumped my 45-mag into him, putting it on saved my life and got me .03 fence revenue.

I am the Lzsh enjoyer, I run it for swag, it has saved me.. maybe 3-4 times from players.. but I run it with the t2 visor so I know when I get shot in the eyes

On my third ever run of tarkov the other day I, with a PACA, commando, and m4 carbine, killed a man wearing a ulach with a headshot in dorms, and his mate wearing a strandhogg- probably would’ve died if he had a face shield

One good thing about the LZSh is it looks best with the balaclava, gssh and gaswelder drip

the ssh-68 stands out so much. I can spot it almost as well as the blueberry helmet.

Leviticus the only thing you forgot to count as a bank for buck lover is the repairability. The moment you get out of the raid after being shot in the head and being saved by your helmet or is getting back from insurance (your killer didn't took it or you have a buddy who ditched your stuff) you will see a damaged helmet what you want to repair and to have it on high durability (going under 90% is dangerous). This is where SSH, Ulach, Altyn and Rys-T is shining super great, you can pretty much repair them 3-5 times before you give them to the vendor because it's repairability wich helps you to only lose 0.5-3% durability after repairing it (usually at Prapor, come on let's just be honest) and you can put it back on your head and practically it's just as a new one, no need to buy a new helmet, meanwhile most other helmets are not even worth to repair them or maybe you can do it once.

the tc 800 is the cheapest class 4 helmet that can mount a multi hit ballistic faceshield, so its actually the cheapest option for the protection it offers, if you don't have access to visors I think the tc 2001 is the cheapest class 4 option. Great video though, keep up the great work!

LZSh helmet is my favorite because it's cheap, lightweight, flasglight mounts because i play exclusively night raids, and if I want I can add applique level 5 slapp armor to it.

I think this wipe made tier 3 and 4 armors way more viable for later in the wipe. You can't buy pretty much any ammo that penetrates class 4 armor, without unlocking pretty time consuming quests or tier 4 traders. Like all of the NATO M85XA1 ammo and M995 are off the flea. You can't just buy any AK bullet that penetrates more than class 3, unless you unlock them from prapor or find like 20 in a raid. Getting shot by expensive lategame ammo is much more rare than in previous wipes. Getting shot by regular PS 7.62 is much more common. The 7.62x51 caliber guns are kinda scary, M80 is accessible relatively early and rips through class 4 armor, but the better M62 and M61 are both off the flea. In short, it's pretty common to get shot with M855, PS, and even 9x19 Pst or .45 match FMJ. Shotguns too are very popular. None of these bullets can fuck up a class 4 face shield in one round. Even a class 3 has saved me 50% of the time in factory, even though it has been almost 2 months since the wipe.

The TK Fast MT has great Ergo values, weighs nearly nothing, is cheap and has a high ricochet chance, which is all you need late wipe as the ammo used then will penetrate all amor classes anyway. No need to put any tier 5 plates on it. I literally run this together with Slicks late wipe and it works, as the only thing saving you from headshots will be a ricochet anyways.

late wipe everyone starts selling the zsh and its faceshield for dirt cheap, the most cost effective combo for under 30k for factory.
