My father was taken by the Germans rounding up teenagers my Dad was only 16 taken to Germany as a Younak from there after experiencing the 1000 bombers over Germany became a POW American Ukrainians advise my Dad to burn his identity papers and Americans put my Dad onto a lorry, when he arrived he had two choices either join Anders army or the French foreign legion he took one look inside the French foreign legion and said fuck this so he joined the Anders army and ended up in Palestine in 1945 he stayed there until 1947 and dropped off after a 3 month gut wrenching sea journey ending up demobed in Liverpool England this is a true story.

На жаль, маю констатувати той факт, що український кінематограф і в часи сесесеру, і в постсовкрвий час, так і не вирвався з лабет меншовартістності. Дивитися тягомотину студії Довженка - неймовірна мука. Єдиний комерційно привабливий фільм україноцентричного спрямування - Фучжоу. Однак через режим внутрішньої окупації, який почався саме в роки виходу цього фільму, коли культурою та освітою керував відвертий україноненависник Табачник, не дав широко реалізувати цей, безсумнівно, вестерно-україноцентричний фільм. А він неймовірно цікавий та захоплюючий. Пропоную опублікувати його. Повна назва, наскільки пам'ятаю: "Вигляд на рейді портал Фучжоу".
