الخيامية
هي فن الرسم بالقماش على القماش.
- يبدأ الحرفي عمله فيها باختيار التصميم الذي يرغب في تنفيذه على القماش، ويقوم بإحضار ورق كلك وطيه ثماني طيات ويبدأ في رسم ثمن التصميم على أحد طبقات الورقة، بعد ذلك يُحضر (الميبر) إبرة مثبتة على قلم رصاص من خلال لفها بالخيط جيدًا لضمان ثباتها وعدم تحركها أثناء استخدامها ويمسك بها ويبدأ في تخريم الرسم الموجود على الورقة بالكامل، وبفرد الورقة المرسومة يكون الرسم قد انتقل إلى باقي الورقة وبذلك يكون الحرفي قد حصل على "أورنيك" للتصميم الذي يريد تنفيذه. وقد يتم طي الورقة نصفين، وقد يتم رسم التصميم على الورقة وهي مفرودة، حيث يتوقف هذا الأمر على مهارة الحرفي وشكل تصميم الأورنيك المطلوب تصميمه من حيث تكرار الوحدات الزخرفية المكونة له.
- يُحضِر الحرفي القماش الذي يرغب في تنفيذ التصميم عليه ويقوم بفرده على سطح مستوٍ ويضع فوقه الأورنيك ويبدأ بالخبط عليه برفق بالترابة وهي عبارة عن كيس يحتوى على بودرة فحم إذا كان يرغب فى نقل التصميم على قماش فاتح اللون، بينما يستبدلها ببودرة تلك في حالة استخدام قماش داكن اللون. ويلاحظ أن القماش المستخدم في مشغولات الخيامية هو قماش "التيل الدك".
بعد الانتهاء من عملية التتريب يرفع الأورنيك من على القماش حيث يكون قد انطبع عليها التصميم بواسطة بودرة الفحم أو بودرة التلك ويبدأ في المرور على التصميم بالقلم الرصاص أو بالقلم الأبيض لإبراز التصميم.
- يحضر الخيمي قماش تيل دك بنفس مقاس القماش الذي طبع عليه التصميم ويثبت القطعتين معًا بطريقة السراجة.
- يبدأ الخيمي في تثبيت القماش الملون على التصميم الذي طبعه على القماش بطريقة اللفق حتى ينتهي من التصميم.
- بعدها يقوم الخيمي بوضع بطانة خلف المشغولة بنفس مقاسها ويقوم بتثبيت البطانة مع المشغولة داخل برواز خارجي من القماش على أن يجعل في أحد أجناب البرواز سوستة إذا كانت المشغولة وسادة حتى يمكن إدخال الحشو من خلالها.

- The craftsman brings the fabric that he wants to implement the design on it and straightens it on a flat surface and puts the ornic over it and begins to knock on it gently with dirt, which is a bag containing charcoal powder if he wants to copy the design on a light-colored fabric, while replacing it with talc powder in case of using dark-colored fabric. It is noted that the fabric used in the tent artifacts is the "teal tamking" fabric.
- After completing the marking process, the ornic is lifted from the fabric, where the design has been imprinted on it with charcoal powder or talc powder, and begins to outline the design with pencil or white pen to highlight the design.
- Al-Khaimi brings the teal fabric in the same size as the fabric on which the design was printed and fixes the two pieces together by hand stitching.
- Al-Khaimi begins to fix the colored fabric on the design that he printed on the fabric by the method of fabrication until he finishes the design.
- Al-Khaimi puts a lining behind the workpiece of the same size and fix the lining with the workpiece inside an external frame of fabric, provided that he makes a zipper in one of the sides of the frame if the workpiece is a pillow so that the filling can be inserted through it.
