A person who is ungreatful & does not acknowledge the contribution of people who made their carrer cannot be considered as a good human being. One may the best or one of the best in one's profession but all that has no value if one's attitude or behaviour is such that it is looked down upon by the people. What is use of fame & success if the same is not matched by the same standard of behaviour in public life. As you have rightly pointed out Ashaji never ever praised O.P.Nayyar or Rafi sahab in any interview or public platform. Very much in bad taste.

Sheer nonsense you are saying. Rafi was versatile singer and obedient to music director. He used to sing as directed. He never used to put his opinion. On the contrary Ashatai used her innovation while recording. She is not timid of nature and says spade a spade. An honest nature. Since few days there is systematic slandering us being spread against Lataji and Aashaji. Op nayyar was good M D. But bloted headed. Becane egoistic. And that brought hus own down fall & died pauper in Vasai. Why these people are hell bent on putting Rafiji in all time great pedestal? This effort us deplorable.

But you are rightly said that what ever achieved by Asha ji is only because of great OP Nayyar Sahab. No one else can be given this credit except Nayyar Sahab, because SD Burman ji, Ravi ji and RD Burman ji used her voice when she was already an established singer and SDB had some issues with Lata ji during the period 1957-1962 so he called for Asha ji. Even though Asha ji is not recognising the contribution of OP Nayyar Sahab publicly but her career during 1950-70 is nothing without OP Nayyar sahab's 324 evergreen songs. Her best association was with Rafi Sahab.

ओ पी नैयर का करियर बनाने में गीता दत्त का बहुत बड़ा हाथ था वह तो हार मान कर अपने घर वापस लौट रहे थे लेकिन गीता दत्त ने ही गुरु दत्त के आगे उनकी सिफारिश की थी अच्छे संगीतकार के लिए.. पर जब गुरु दत्त के गुजर जाने के बाद गीता दत्त बुरे हालात से गुजर रहीं थीं तब उन्होंने कोई मदद नहीं की.. 😔😔 फ़िल्मी दुनिया में ऐसा ही होता है..!

जावेद जी बहुत अच्छा सादरीकरण । जब इंडियन आयडॉल कार्यक्रम मे आशा जी को रफीसाहब के बारे मे गलत कहते हुए सुना था ,तब से बहुत बुरा लग रहा था ।आपने हम सबके दिल की बात यहाँ बता दी । बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद । कोई भी आदमी जब इस दुनिया मे नही होता , तो उसके बारे मे कुछ गलत कहना बिलकुल अच्छा नही लगता , ये आशा जी को किसी ने बताना जरूरी है ।

I would like to correct one statement that OP Nayyar Sahab and Asha Bhosle partnership was for 17 years, but actually they worked together for 20 years from 1952 to August 5, 1972 when they recorded last song Chain se hum ko kabhi aap ne jine na diya.... their first film was 1952 release Cham Chama Cham and all songs were recorded in the voice of Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhosle.

जावेद साहब, अगर आज आशा भोसले एक बड़ी गायिका मानी जाती है तो इसका श्रेय उनकी गायन की चौमुखी शैली साथ शास्त्रीय संगीत की गहन साधना को जाता है। इसमें कोई शक नहीं कि ओपी नैयर साहब को उन्हें गति में लाने का श्रेय दिया जाना चाहिए, परंतु ओपी नैयर के गानों को अमर करने का श्रेय भी आशा भोसले को जाता है। अर्थात दोनों का हित आपस में जुड़ा हुआ था। लता जी का विकल्प सिर्फ आशा भोंसले हो सकती थीं। रिश्तो में कड़वाहट का जिम्मेदार ओपी नैयर का सनक मिजाज़ था। अपने सनक मिजाज़ के चलते ओपी नैयर सहाब ने रफ़ी साहब की भी बेइज्जती की थी। आपने इसका ज़िक्र नहीं किया। आशा भोसले रिश्तो से अधिक अपने प्रोफेशनलिज्म को महत्व देती थीं। अपने समकालीन गायकों की शान में उम्र के इस पड़ाव पर किसी भी तरह की पब्लिकली प्रतिकूल टिप्पणी उन्हें शोभा नहीं देती।

Now a days there are quite a few you tubers (I have found at least three including this one) who openly criticise the great Mangeshkar sisters just to show their loyalty and love for Rafi sahab. They rake out some mundane, insignificant past incident and then try to tarnish the image of Lata ji and Asha ji. This is outrageous and unacceptable. These sick youtubers, instead of appreciating the talent of these stalwarts, try to judge these great singers by commenting on their personal life.

Kisi bhi artist ki koi bhi baat ko tod marod ke kahan se kahan leke jate hai aur Rafi sahab ke tarafdaari ke naam lekar doosre artist ki image kharab karne ki koshish mein lage hai. Hamen ikattha hona padega yeh channel bandh karwane ke liye, nahin to na jaane yeh aur kya kya matlab nikaalkar logon ko kya samjhayega.

I have always been a great admirer of Ashaji and her versatility. Watching this shocked me. I had been thinking her to be a victim of a sibling's dominance but am shocked to know how ungrateful she has been in her quest for achievement. आशा भोसलेजी एक महान गायिका है,ओ पी नय्यर भी एक महान संगीतकार थे,उन्होंने दिए मुले संगीत ने आशा जी के गाये मुले गानोंको चार चांद लग गये, पर उसका पूर्ण श्रेय आप संगीतकार को ही कैसे दे सकते हैं, आशाजी की आवाज की भी काॅन्ट्रीब्युशन है के नहीं, संगीतकार भी एक उन्हानं है, हो गया इश्क, पर आशाजी ने उनके एहसान के बदले में इश्क करना जरूरी नहीं,सतरा साल वो एक दुसरे के साथ काम कर रहे थे, रिलेशनशिप में तो नहीं थे ना, और ना कहनेका अधिकार औरत को भी तो है ना? इश्क में उसने अपने घर संसार को छोडा,आशाजी ने कहा था क्या ? जो आशाजी की खातिर अपना घर संसार तोंड सकता है वो कल किसी और के खातिर आशाजी को भी तोंड सकता था,अभी आशाजीकी इस उम्र में उनके चारीत्र्य को लेकर ऐसी बाणे करना बहुत घृणास्पद है,साधनांची की मृत्यू उनके वृध्दावस्था के कारण हुई लेकीन जिम्मेदार आशाजीको ठहराया, घर आशाजी का था इतने साल रहनेको दिया साधनाजीको और जरुरत पडी तो मांग लेना गुनाह है क्या? वो नहीं छोड रही थी इसलीए आशाजी को कोर्ट में जाना पडा, क्या चल रहा है, क्यूं एक अतीज्येष्ठ नागरीक औरत को बदनाम कर रहे हो ?

आशा भोंसले एक आला दर्जे की गायिका हैं किंतु लता मंगेशकर की तरह वह भी किसी का अहसान नही मानती है। आपने जो भी फ़रमाया वो एक हकीकत है। नैयर साहब ने ही उन्हें एक आला दर्जे की गायिका बनाया था इसे दुनिया जानती है और मानती भी है। रफी साहब की बराबरी तो कोई नही कर सकता न तो किशोर कुमार, न तो आशा जी या लता जी। फिर जो शमा नैयर साहब ने आशा जी के साथ बांधा वो शमा आर डी बर्मन कभी नही बांध सके। उसके सारे बेस्ट कम्पोजिशन लता जी ने गाये हैं। रफी साहब को तो आर डी ने भी बहुत मौके पर कमतर दिखाने की कोशिश की है मगर सच क्या रहा है ये तुम भी जानते हो और हम भी और सारी कायनात भी की बगैर नैयर साहब और रफी साहब के दरियादिली के आशा भोंसले आज वहां नहीं होती जहां आज वह है।

You are a divine Worshiper of Rafisahab and telling the truth.As l had already mentioned that Asha Bonsle only succeeded due to duet with Rafisahab.So the downfall of Rafisahab came due to both sisters,R D Burman,Rajesh Khanna etc.All those as Shakti Samanta etc were also involved.You are actually doing the Pooja of Rafisahab by telling these types of facts.

It may be other way round also that OP Nayyar’s career boomed with melodious voice of Asha Bhosle. Also, if somebody do for someone does not mean she or he should marry him or her😎
