Its so true, people don't like people who listen less and talk more. I was like him before but now i am changed. Now i realise how bothering i was to everyone in front of me😂😂😂
This shows that listening is more important than speaking...If people are interested they will ask you and then you have to respond it's now how this guy did... He kept on speaking without listening
He is quite a known face in bengal. Once he was an aspiring filmmaker I guess, but now I know that that line of work didn't work for him. Now he is an entrepreneur. Recently in a conclave he said that by selling “chop” (a bengali food like pasty with chicken or fish or prawn) one can earn like 2.5 lakhs per month, I don't remember the exact amount he said. But he himself is earning 1.5 lakhs per month. I say that it's better for him to start selling “chop” (by the inspiration of our honourable CM), according to his own advice. He is the kind of guy who presents himself to people bigger and better than he really is.
I would love to see this person succeed in future. Although he was a bit overconfident, but he had the humility in the end (atleast a realization). He will definitely become big. Best wishes...!
He is neither open to feedback nor listening at all!!! He loves to think that he has done something great where the reality is totally opposite. I stay in North and South Kolkata and have never heard of it. And specially after watching this episode I won't go to this restaurant
Jo log aate h wo bhi maan k hi aate honge ki Namita to showpiece h, wo to out hi h pehle se. Bde investment me uski capacity nhi h pesa dalne ki, chote me wo daalti nhi h risk ki wajeh se. Uske liye FD sbse best h. Use aisa business chahiye jisme use kuch krna na pde, pehle se settled business ho aur bs uske pese jldi se double ho jaye
I don’t know what to laugh about this they left because they thought there is no future but he was loyal to idea . Trust me doing business is lot things to feed our brains and no one is perfect just his over confident what u are laughing about which is also indirectly laughing at his struggle s. If he has passion to learn and re fix he will boom back
A lot of Bengali’s have a problem of not listening and just speaking. He shouldn’t have bought the topic of Bengalis are scared of doing business and are into jobs. When sharks invest they invest in your business potential and not in your community.
Seriously he needs comments and feedback from Ashneer. Try to see the real world. 4 outlets with 18-20 people capacity. Shop is opened for almost 12hours 7days. And you sell 1-1.5lakhs. Bhai ek normal sa roll ka dukan ye amount ka sell Kar deta hai
Man was overconfident which i think is needed to survive in this wave of entrepreneurship he had an outlet standing just by him what a guy great at sales .. all he lacked was some patience which is justified as he built his outlet alone like a one men army ... I wish him all the success.. you amazed me and all of them it's just that you stretched it a little too much . Baaki bhai you are a great salesman i would love to invest in you not in the business but in you as i find you Jordan Belfort you got the sharp mind you just need some tactics other than this 69 thing this can't be all you know. Baaki you are a nice person
Being a bengali i can say this guy is a perfect example of why Bengalis (majority)can't do business, no doubt they have generous quality of knowledge in their field, they are intellectual but dhandaa kadne ke liye sirf badi badi batein kadne se nehi hota...when you sell your products to the indians (majority middle class)you have to understand first their needs by listening them., that's why gujjuus rule the business market. Bengalis should learn from them.
Bengalis are intellectual and Gujaratis are not? Arey bangali didi, Gujarat literacy rate is higher than bengal. Gujarat is the 8th highest literacy rate state of India. Bengal is 10th
Bhai! Not to offend anyone. She told that Bengali are considered intellectuals (it’s a generally accepted tag due to historical prevalence) but these doesn’t mean other communities are not. You misunderstood the statement. Also, intellectual dimensions is beyond literacy rate. It includes many factors other than literacy. Literacy is one of the factors. Hope you understood. Cheers!
Respected ma'am, Kindly take some effort to google the founders of NDTV, Sree Leathers, Bose Electronics, Bandhan Bank, Dabur Consumer Foods, The Elite Group of Hotels. There is an endless list of such businesses. Additionally, please Google the name of Arundhati Bhottacharjjo, Rono Dutto, Shubroto Bagchi, Samit Ghosh etc etc. Before typing such stereotypical comments and misunderstanding the potential of Bangalis as promising businesspersons, do take little effort to make the best use of the technology of the internet in today's world. Regards, From a proud Bangali.
11:00 sayan bhai be like wtf But kuch bhi bolo. Bande ka confidence and way of presenting the pitch was next level. I wish him to be one of the sharks in next few years
I know this guy. he was in MTV dropout season one. and that was when i was in highschool. This guy came in a mercedes for the audition and wanted to prove his papa right. He had similar story back then about him and his friends and a lot of bakwaas and some other stupid venture back then but finally got the audition somehow. Even today he is struggling and its no wonder his cofounders left. And talking about middle class problems living in AC . what a monumental waste
I don't understand the hatred against Bengalis in Comment Section.. like he is atleast doing this work on his own and making profit, while unemployed people here in comment section are making fun of him... He is already ahead of most of the people in comment section, no matter he got funding or not, but he is atleast learning something and earning through his own business..
Do you know as per the human psychology and historical evidence why people hate a certain race, gender ,tribe?!When they are better. Why do people hate women, why they hate jews, why they hate blacks, their hatred makes us famous, worthy , interesting, better.
Banda a6a hai.. Startup v a6a hai.. But overconfident le dubi🙂 Bye the way I'm also a Bengali.. and I know Kolkata ka market bohot down hai.. to yaha par ek aysa business agar yeh pulloff kar paye to bohot a6a hoga.. I appreciate him👏
The guy alone is running created business without any other help and trying to succeed in the wave of fast food chain of Kolkata, it's obvious to be full of overconfidence, one because of his age and second he understands a basic concept Marketing Marketing Marketing, a good marketing can sell anything.
See doing something of their own is always commendable. That wasn't the problem. He thought his over enthusiasm and circling the words will get him somewhere which is not the case. Piyush asked a genuine question about the business and look what answer he gave, bamboo ke niche see Aana Hain. So there's a learning curve here. I'm a Bengali too and I run my own business too. I understand the pain but this was sad to watch

I was struck by his tremendous energy and enthusiasm. Though he may have struggled with direct answers and faced criticism for his presentation, it's clear that he possesses a genuine passion for his product and a clean-hearted drive to succeed. His energy is infectious, and with the right guidance and mentorship, he could channel that enthusiasm into a more focused approach. His product shows great promise, and with some improvements in his listening skills and presentation, he could become a standout entrepreneur. Don’t be discouraged, as your passion and potential are evident. Keep pushing forward, and use this experience as a stepping stone to refine your approach and achieve your goals. Congratulations for great product, you will shine.
I really feel this person will do something great in he's life . He is a sufferer and a sufferer talks alot when he out of some stupid situations but how can this people understand .
no he wouldn't do jackshit in future with this type of behavior, hell do nothing but talk bullshit thinking that he did something with his life, anupam and aman really gave him good advice that he should follow if he truly wants to do something good and big in life , honestly wish ashneer was in this episode he would have gave him the thrashing he needed

Exactly...he is a super talkative person..!! Also he thinks usne business me sub achieve kr lia hai..bus shark tank me judge ki seat Milne ki deri hai usko😅😅
I think he should not focus on restaurant business but on selling the sauce only. He also said that it can be used to make a number of dishes. He'll need less capital investment. Even during lockdowns and all, sauce can be sold. Restaurant business is generally taken as a passion driven endeavour rather than a money making one, it's very volatile and not so scalable field.
Yes , also this HoReCa business has so much competition , that after certain time he can't focus on innovation , so going with the sauce is better option i think.
unfortunately not, just selling the sauce is not enough the main thing is even though he said he had sauces, I didnt see a USP for those said sauces. why would i wanna buy ? i dont see a good enough reason yet. also the sauce industry is massive with a lot of major players entering into that said market requires good marketing strategy because he needs to figure out a way to break the existing brand loyalty people have. that being said, i never came across jain sauce so that might be a good place to start.
@@viswadeepkopalli6160 agree Edit: Sauce though has a much better chance of success compared to the shop, of it's something he desires to not give up on or think an alternative for, focusing on Sauce might be better. Anyway, you're correct, Sauce industry has quite bit giants themselves, though, if worked around it properly can maybe create a place in it.
The guy refuses to listen and learn. 6 years ago, another set of successful entrepreneurs had told him to calm down and use common sense instead of unrealistic sales pitches around Rs. 69, and so forth. He didn’t. If self glorification and personal branding are all that he has, someone needs to tell him that the Internet remembers everything.
His entry was fabulous. Good to see a young bengali coming on Shark tank. This bengali can do business. I know one guy who is bengali who left lucrative IT career and running a successful resturant in Kolkata
No good sales guy says i am a good sales guy and can sell anything. All the sharks except for ( mein out hoon) are star sales guys. His pitch was rejected without even understanding , who did the R&D for his sauce, the sauce business and its scope. This guy could have got all the sharks ( except for the obvious one) on board. All the best and more humility
Chak de India point by Aman was spot on, this fake supremacy by region or superiority complex over others while losing our identity as an Indian was a red flag in this guy.
From what I understood, he is is more of a big picture guy who can dream up big, bold visions, but gets bored by the blandness of reality and fumbles when it comes to execution. I would recommend that he hires people who are not afraid of the mundane and delegates the grunt work to his recruits while he invests his time in figuring out what his future prospects should look like.
Bro this is not this inocent boys problem ye bengoli r south k log aise hi culture me grow huye hai ki wo khud ko non begoli se thora superior samajhte h❤
I believe rejection is a part of life . He was not arrogant , he just tried to convince the sharks to join him in the best way he can ,however he didn't succeed . That's alright! Why are people in the comment section thinking that he is overconfident or being so critical of his behaviour, it's ok I am sure we all had failures at some point of time . Not everyone succeeds equally , it's cool

Ye muje Delhi station pe Jo powerbank bechte hai woh jyada laga..pta nhi kaunsi goli khake aaya tha kisi ki sun hi nhi rha tha... Jaate time uska attitude dikh gya ki kitna respect karta hai sharks ko
It was not that he was not listening.. judge's mentality is more judgemental type..first they see which college iit or iim than which city..then they decide
We are Bengali as well as Indian and we can do everything which is create history in the world & I hope one day I will create a history in the world being an Indian ❤❤❤ from Tripura.
Bhai kuch tension nhi ..aapnich baghwan hai...uski wajhe se kuch problem nhi hoga...tera confidence is a confidence not over confidence...inko kisi ko bhi food me knowledge nhi hein is liye ... woh tera confidence reason bana diya ...bhai ..khud ke uppar utna confidence chahiye...let others say it as over confidence..no issues..all the best bhai .....❤
Main Bengal se hun, ye salesman hunar se nehi zarurat bana kiyuki Bengal mein sales chor ke koi job nehi bacha jisse guzara ho sake. This kind personality is bigger and bigger in number in Bengal which we call "dhol", loud from outside as inside is empty.
Ye MTV ya Channel V ke ek show pe bhi aaya tha jo entrepreneurship be bana tha, usme Raghu Rajeev bhi the, aur shayad hi ye 25 saal ka hoga, usse zyaada umra hai iski
I have visited their deshapriya park outlet. Food items were not so good both in terms of quality and quantity. I would say streetshops are much better in that area than WTF! And i don't think they have any repeat customer. One who visits their outlet never comes back. Quick review - WHAT THE FUCK (WTF!)

One of the only things great about Calcutta, and ofc Bengal is its food. My man's trying to enter a market that is not only competitive but also saturated with very little wiggle space for something this generic. It's neither a new concept nor a new cuisine, and that too for indo-chinese dishes, something that is more than abundant in calcutta. I don't see a USP. This is not the business-aspiring Calcutta I would want to see
Once upon a time he used read for the exam and at the same time also managing the food order delivery -------- you could have studied that's why you were on the last bench. Your 2 friends had the vision that's why they left
Agree the guy didn't had any business knowledge. But whole episode sharks were trying to prove him wrong and idiot. I think he came for business help. But all skarks want is already established businessman who just need a bank loan in style to expand his business and sharks money. This shows Shark Tank is just for already stable profit making business.
