@@prachibansal6670 Dear Prachi, I never take sugar since my childhood. We were financially very poor, though my father was one civil engineer under R&B under Odisha government. We were 8 brothers and sisters. Our mother used to give us molasses and Jugerry instead of sugar, which is fine carbohydrates. She was also avoiding maida, which is also fine carbohydrate. She was preparing pure ghee out of milk as we had five mixed breed cows. Everyday we were talking one teaspoon of pure ghee during lunch. As per cooking oil, she was using pure kachi Ghani mustered oil only. I was a sports person and automatically there was no disposition of extra fat, as the extra fat was converted into energy which was converted into extracurricular activities. I am a chemical engineer from Roorkee and was working in Paper Mills for 47 years. Now I am a consulted engineer. I worked in several countries too. So I was very active throughout my life. Myself along my wife were doing brisk morning walk covering 6 to 7 km a day. Now we don’t go out for walking and workout everyday on our treadmill placed in our TV room. Regarding our present diet, we both take Oats, Musli, different types of nuts, brown bread, peanut butter, cheese, raisins, makhana, ripe bananas in our breakfast. We take filtered coffee without sugar and creamer. In the lunch, we prefer brown rice, where carbohydrates turns to glucose very slowly which turns into our daily activities causing no sugar surge after lunch and so there is no risk of disposition of extra fat and at the same time there is no risk of diabetic. We take fish and chicken most of the days where from we get protein, calcium and omega 3 fatty acids. We never forget to take curds with chia seeds, flaxseed and garden cress seeds everyday in our lunch. We also take seasonal fruits everyday after lunch. We also take lots of vegetables and salads. We take light meals in dinner around 8:00 pm and go to bed around 10:00 pm. We take full eggs too but never take mutton which contains lots of fat. My waist measures 36” inches and height is 1.65 meters. My wife is a retired Principal from government college and ou only son is a doctorate in Robotics Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University USA and a Principal Researcher in Mycroft and staying in Seattle USA. By the grace of God we can afford our liking diets. Take care.

Sir its very good informational vedio, i also belong to medical field and from last 12 years continously involve in heavy exercises in morning hour, but i am unable to reduce my belly stomach and vesceral fat, But today i get the answer why it is so, I am eating too much carbs, 8chapati in morning and 7 chapaties in evening , apart from rice ,pulse,vegetables. But from today onward i will change my diet. But sir when i am saying today i eat less meal, my wife is annoyed with me, she loves me too much and she serve me too much. ppl like us watch multiple videos on weight loss, visceral fat, etc... andist of ys think we eat fats and so fat depisit in the tummy region.. I did know that insulin resistance affs to our nody fat.. But your video made it very clear that too much carbs in food is the cause for obesity and paunch etc.. Thsnks doctor for the detailed video.

Eat complex carbs if you are willing to walk a lot. I know many rice eating people who are slim and healthy and age 70+. But, one thing common in them is they walk a lot and follow the timetable for food.
Sirji indian staple food is rice and wheat... ab bachpan se kha raha hu toh iska substitute kya karna hai so that bhook bhi mite and carbs bhi less consume howe.

Its very difficult unless you are non vegetarian. I can give some suggestions as I have list 20 kgs following low carbs diet. Eat whole eggs say 5 a day, thats like 350 kcal. 40 grams of walnuts, 300kcal. One avacado, 200 odd kcal. 200 grams of chicken breast 200 odd kcal. Add protein powder, 200 kcal. Rest is your veggies, two rotis or some rice, ghee here and there and oils will take it around 2000-2200 kcal.
Indrayani rice is good for digestion with sticky and butter like texture,i prefer to eat this and try by yourself.and second thing rice is not harmful for anyone only calories and basically excessive calories matters
