Tata ka 2 bade issues hai, ek uski engine aur doosra after sales service. Jab padesani aygi tab pata chalta hai..

Gearbox of my Nexon Petrol was also changed under warranty within 8 months and 8000 Kms. There was some leakage from the seal on left side. Leakage was very minor and they told me that it can be fixed by replacing a seal and bearing but since car is new they will change whole gearbox unit instead of reparing it. They ordered the unit and told me to drive my car since there was no major issue. After around 12 to 15 days they told me to bring the car to service center and changed the gearbox unit in front of me within 5 hours. Took a small test drive and handed over the vehicle. No issues till date after 33000+ Kms.

Safe car लेना बहुत अच्छी बात है लेकिन, हम नई car लेते है क्योंकि हम पुरानी car के झंझट से बचना चाहते है और बेफिर्क होकर दिन रात कभी भी अपने परिवार के साथ यात्रा कर सके। लेकिन अगर सिर्फ safe car के नाम मे ऐसी कार ले लेना जो भरोसेमंद न हो, या driving pleasure न दे, ये मेरे समझ मे नही आता। हम लोग नई car अपने बेधड़क उपयोग के लिए लेते है लेकिन जब नई car 1-2 month ले अंदर service center में चली जाए या 1-2 month के लिए service सेंटर में खड़ी हो जाएं, वो भी manufacturing defect के चलते, तो कैसा लगता है वो तो car मालिक ही समझ सकता है, साला EMI भी भरो और गाड़ी service center की शोभा बढ़ा रही है।

The owner is really unlucky to face such server problems so soon. Tata should improve its quality checks and R & D.

This is the thing I’ve always hesitated with Tata . Means no disrespect to Tata and their Safety but what would you do with safety when you’re engine and it’s gearbox freezes

I own TATA Tigor and I have also noticed the similar issue in my car. Till today I just ignored it bt now thinking to raise this issue to the service center..

Only issue with suzuki is build, once improved, Tata is out. Safety k tagline ko tata ne ache se market kia hai, Dusri companies improve kr le to tata majbur hoga main chizo pe dhyan dene me.

Tata still has some time to reach to the Japanese level ....you will never ever come across such issues with a japenese brand ... Yes the built quality is not tata level ....but peace of my is 💯

I am owner of the @tata altroz and had faced glowing of SRS Airbag without any visible problem and it was recurring for long time since I purchased, which disappeared only after software upgrade and cleaning/rubbing of connectors from Tata Service Centre. It's been around 3 to 4 months and have not faced any issue.

I own Nexon XM petrol since aug21, driven only 4400 km. Recently on a 200km trip, experimentally I kept driving at 75km/hr on 6th gear throughout on eco mode without AC, I was surprised to see the MID showing the fuel economy of 20km/ltr.

Nexon first and reverse gear has problem. Stuck's every time

At the end of the day, the final conclusion is that best car is Maruti Suzuki. Me and My father have driven Maruti brand cars for last 32 years starting with Maruti 800 from 1989. And Maruti Suzuki hands down is the most reliable car brand. If you want safety aspect too, then buy Brezza or Ignis.

Tata imports engines from AVL (A Austrian Company ) , imports automatic transmission from Huyndai . Huge amount of mismatches are there , they need highly trained R &D team . They just assembles and sells .

There is a problem with this unit only. We have both Nexon and Altroz and till date we have never faced any issue. Altroz was purchased in June 2020 and we have completed 10k plus and Nexon in October 2020 and completed 16k. Even Service center people are cooperative and responsive.

Meri ciaz 80000 km chali hai , uski build quality utani strong nahi he , par abtak 3 salo me ab tak konsi bhi problem nahi aayi , me maruthi suzuki ke bahotahi jyada khush hu .. aur next car skoda rapid lene vala huuuu , build quality ke sath engine bhi refined he .

Happy to see the issue got resolved for this customer. However some important points to note for Tata: 1. The first time they replaced the axle. Now, how was that identified and why did they not check/test again by themselves whether this is the problem they were chasing. They unnecessarily wasted money on the new part, time for themselves which could have been better utilised, bad customer experience and loss of trust for the owner as well as people like me who are watching this video. 2. The next time- why would you want to keep the car for 15 days ? I mean really? It's an Indian brand, don't they have adequate parts as well as expertise to handle issues timely in today's day and age ? 3. The worst part is they tried to pull a fast one by possibly bluffing the customer into believing they had replaced the gear box but most likely had not. If they want us to believe that even the new part was faulty , then the message being relayed is - we don't have quality vendors and strong processes to ensure parts are tested for quality assurance (a gear box is not a fast moving or low cost item to fail frequently). They need to realise that they are not obliging the customers , it's their duty to ensure their production led misses and faults are rectified the first time and for good. This is not an encouraging sign. What is the point of introducing good products without them being reliable. Safety cannot come at the cost of reliability, this needs to be understood by them very clearly. Wish the owner the very best and a satisfying experience from here on and hope that Tata will do their best to really work on their reputation when it comes to after sales. I am staying away from Tata.

Safety and build quality is awesome but they still don't make reliable cars !!!! Maruti makes car with shit build quality but will never cause you trouble that's why people still buy Maruti in big numbers.

Tata always had reliability issues. 5 star may save you from accidental situations but car stopping suddenly during night at some isolated place will place u in an endangered situation too. Tata should respect the customer sentiment about vocal for local and do proper R&D before launching any new car

Common issues of Tata nexon after 3yrs of driving . No major issue as such ,but still as it is machine anything can happen. 1.Reverse gear problem.. 2.Driving window dropped down once ,but not after that. 3. Mirrors are unable to open after car washing,but it comes to normal after some hrs,may be software problem. Comfort wise Performance wise,Look wise definitely you feel like Premium cars

I had faced same issue on my nexon after 5 months of purchase, my car gearbox is also replaced and after that the gearbox and gear shifting is running fine. Tata really should improve its technical part because I know that how much inconvenience I have faced with my new car.However, I am now happy with the car so far.

Regarding engine lock - remove key, wait for 1 minute and then insert it again see the speedometer is back to zero and start the engine. In my case it works. Service centre says it is because the electronic code not correctly transmitted by the key to ECU due to electromagnetic interference by mobile or similar instruments near by the key.

Jab bhi engine locked ki warning aati hai to key KO nikal Kar fir se start karne se start ho jati hai In my nexon yeah ho Chuka hai. Par key nikal Kar phir se start karne se vo start ho jati hai. Ignition ko on karne ke baad 2 second bad self Marne par yeah problem nahi aati

The Day Suzuki decides to give build quality, ensuring 4-5 ratings on safety. It will uproot all other competitors. However, they have given room in terms of build quality, I hope TATA covers all the gaps and dominate a huge market share.

There has been lot of issues related to software in TATA Tiago. Tara should enable it's customers to update their car software themselves online.

Dear I have also Nexon XM petrol..but not found any issue...and i am taking mileage 24.8 Km/Liter in Instrument cluster in City mode driving on Highway... I think there is a problem with this unit...

Suzuki & Honda has a very very rare case similar kind....as their vehicle is much stable in all aspects except body shell stability...

Same issue in nexon engine locked problem har 3 bar start krte samay 1 bar to engine locked ka problem rehta tha aur beijjati bhi sath me baithne walo se hoti thi....3-4 bar service me diya in 10 months....har bar software update ka bahana banate hai...but finally solved the problem with changing of engine immobilizer....

This the reason I only suggest maruti n Toyota. Please note the replacement parts are also from same batch. Our indigo xl central lock system got changed 3 times. N 2 times we had to pay. N lots of other issues like power window motors n channels, steering assembly got changed within 1 month to 3 years of purchase. Lot of other electrical issues. My uncle bought storm it's back door was not opening from 1st of purchase. Also my friends Tata tigor got some issues within 2 year of purchase. So do hell with safety our family will never buy another Tata in life. My neighbor bought xuv 500 2019 as I suggested not to buy hexa n his car stalled in middle of road in 2nd month of purchase as the steering fluid leaked n the entire steering assembly had to replaced. So m not very confident about Mahindra too

*My friend also had similar issue with his 2021 Creta recently.* Edit: Somehow such issues of Hyundai, Maruti etc don't end up on RU-vid. Last month itself, we had a tussle with Maruti service center for slapping 11k bill for Baleno's 3rd service.

I own altroz xt petrol,I had an issue regarding AC Nob in which direction of air flow was keep blowing below knee in any mode,but when I firstly complaint it sc workshop personal was trying to influence me by saying it is in all altroz,but when I checked it in other it was not in other altroz then I make some heat then he changed the whole HVAC unit & now problem is resolved under warranty which saves my around Rs 25000☺️☺️☺️

Owner is patient who still feels after this experience he managed to take it well but TATA should at least do something about these things and this is the main reason people have doubts buying Tata cars.

Its not a simple thing that a gear box fails in a few hundred kilometers, the QA/QC system of tata is entire failure . you can see many of such problems in tata vehicles in social media platforms. People who say defects are common for mechanical items, if you make a flow chart and compare with other car manufacturers in ratio you can see that the defect ratio of tata is on higher side. Tata has much to learn from the mahindra, making beautiful and good looking car is for nothing if you have no reliable engine gear box and drive train .

I have also purchased Nexon sz plus opt dark manual from fairdeal motors jammu on 14 October and it was hardly driven 4000 km and I faced gearbox problems I was unable to engage 3rd gear i then informed tata motors they changed the gearbox and now gearbox is okay but clutch is not smooth as it used to be

Same issue happened with me ... but with Hyundai i20. It was a plain full job while changing the gearbox!

I also face the same issue with the gearbox, the gearbox was changed on the 4day of purchase, and now facing an oil leakage issue after the gearbox change, after purchase it runs 150 km hardly and mostly from showroom to home and home to workshop, very disappointed with my discussion going with TATA Nexon. purchased on 27th Nov, and the vehicle was in the workshop for more than 1 week.

Engine lock meri Nexon ka bhi hua tha. Battery low Hone par hota h. Kuch time baad lights bhi nhi chalti. Agar battery 1-2 hours tak bni rehnti h toh phir key fob se engine unlock hota h. Press lock + unlock then horn will blow. Then press unlock.
