কারণটা বোধহয় ভিডিওতে বলেছি। আব্দুল কালামের নেতৃত্বে পরমাণু বিস্ফোরণ নিয়ে সে সময় অমর্ত্য সেনের একটি প্রবন্ধ বেশ বিতর্ক তৈরি করেছিল। সে বিষয়ে এক ছাত্রের প্রশ্নের উত্তরে আবদুল কালাম যে কথা বলেছিলেন, সে কথার মধ্যে দিয়ে পরমাণু বিস্ফোরণ নিয়ে তার চিন্তাভাবনার রূপরেখাটিকে চিহ্নিত করার জন্যই অমর্ত্য সেনের প্রসঙ্গটা আনতে হয়েছিল।

Thanks for this Great Video. Sir, many thanks for your Brilliant Analysis. Dr. A P J Abdul kalam Sir, was worried for India's Safety & Security. But Mr. Amartya Sen is a person of other type. Moreover Dr. did not surve any purpose of India. He is of no use for India

On the practical side Amartya Sen has credited with the UN Human Development Index, to evaluate performance of different countries, which before it, performances were measured by the per head national income in US Dollar, which is really pathetic. Amartya Sen also introduced the Mid-Day meals and 100 days' Work Program which had stopped the flows of internal refugees on the pavements of our cities during the lean agricultural. seasons. On the academic level, he had lifted up India to the great intellectual heights by having (1) a critique of Arrow's theory that utility function of a planned economy cannot be defined; (2) a new method to evaluate development projects; (3) analysis of the Bengal famine of 1943; (4) a critique of the futility of Gandhian Charkha methodology, which was his PhD thesis; (5) Contribution on the theory of Growth; (6) a new model of growth to analyze India. I could not support his views on Modi as I am a supporter of the BJP but after observing the inaction of Modi for the last few years, now I think, Modi is the enemy of both India and the BJP. The BJP cannot win the next election unless Modi resigns to make room for Adityanath or Gadkari.

Amartya Sen, though he lived abroad for a while, was and still an Indian citizen and as a citizen of India he criticized an act of Indian government. Just by criticizing an act of his government, he is accused of harboring 'পাশ্চাত্য দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি', is that what you are advocating here? There were plenty of Indians during that time who criticized Pokhran tests , can they all be accused of being foreign sympathizers? APJ Kalam, I am afraid, was wrong on this particular judgement. Sen had an absolute right to criticize the tests, not to mention the actual merit of his arguments, regardless of his citizenship.

Not sure what you're trying to achieve by indulging into comparative studies between these eminent personalities (your video title depicts versus meaning against), save for your increase in local viewership/earning from RU-vid. Two scientists were not only from different genres and lived through totally different perspectives / situations worldwide. While an economist like Dr. Sen championed social welfare leading to well- being of people through his experimental models. In my opinion, sir sounds a little odd just after one's name is pronounced. The first two also acted as liaisons between Army (these researches are generally funded by Defence), community of scientists and other key stakeholders working on the same program, guiding towards their respective successes. Dr. Homi Bhaba (a friend of Dr. Oppenheimer) was a contemporary Indian scientist, considered as Father of Atomic science in India. Before him Dr. Meghnad Saha also contributed towards Nuclear Physics.Lastly both Dr. Sen and Dr. Kalam acknowledged the lacunae for primary education, health in this country.

ভাল প্রতিবেদন। কিন্তু আবদুল কালাম হলেন স্যার। যতবার নাম নিয়েছেন প্রত্যেক বার স্যার বলছেন যা খুব একটা সুশ্রাব্য লাগেনি অথচ বিজ্ঞানী ওপেনহেইমার এবং অর্থনীতিবিদ অমর্ত্য সেনের নাম যেমন তেমন করে নিলেন । শুনতে খুব খারাপ লেগেছে। আপনার কাছে এটা আশা করা যায়নি।

Amartya Sen is a West’s stooge who has been engaged in denigrating India, particularly the outstanding performance of PM Modi in all fronts that catapulted India into the global leadership! Amartya Sen as a communist mindset has always criticized PM Modi’s governance and progressive agenda to right the wrongs perpetrated by the wicked politicians of all hue in India until Mr. Modi’s rise to become the country’s PM. Mr. Sen never contributed to India’s economic progress but his expectations for the minorities only were outlandish! His performance and accountability over the funds spent during his tenure at the Nalanda were poor and severely criticized.
