Myself and my wife consumed this seeds with lemon in luke warm wate. We saw our tummy go reduced in a month. Such a good effect we experienced. Continuing consuming it.

தயவு செய்து சியா விதைகளை ஊற வைத்து சாப்பிடுங்க. ஊற வைக்க படமால் சியா நம் உமிழ்நீர் பட்டால் அது 3 மடங்கு அ‌திகமாக மாறும். Please consume chia only after soak in water or any edible liquid substances .thank you doctor...

Thank you Doctor for this nice explanation on the nutritive value of chia seeds and its health benefits. I have found the best way of eating chia getting full benefits is to powder the chia and soak over night and eat in the morning as porridge adding fresh fruits or dry fruits or nuts . Consuming whole seeds as they are very tiny many won t manage to chew...without grinding into paste seeds are likely to pass the guts without giving us its precious nutrition..i am very happy that you spoke about chia seeds .i m hopeful many people will be benefitted as i consume it nearly 10 years and vouch for its properties. Chia seeds are native to central and southern Mexica. While Sabja Seeds (basil seeds) are native to India and the Mediterranean region. One tablespoon of chia seeds contain the following nutrients - Calories- 60, Total fat- 2.5 grams, Omega 3 fat- 1,240 mg, Total carbs- 7 grams, Dietary fibre- 7 grams, Protein- 2 grams, Calcium- 15% of the daily intake, Iron- 10% of the daily intake and Magnesium- 10% of the daily intake. One tablespoon of sabja seeds contain the following nutrients - Calories- 60, Total fat- 3 grams, Omega 3 fat- 2,880 mg, Total carbs- 5 grams, Dietary fibre- 5 grams, Protein- 3 grams, Calcium- 8% of the daily intake, Iron- 9% of the daily intake and Magnesium- 8% of the daily intake.
