Very nice preparation dear. Just a suggestion the only thing I may like to do is except the coconut every thing else as you said blending it & adding it to the veggie preparation & pressure cook. After pressure cooking is done then add the blended coconut & cook it for few more minutes not pressure cooking ! Just another option ! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Suraikkai Sertha Udane Masala Paste ai Serkkaamal , Adhu oru Five minutes Vendhadhum Serkkalame ! That will also be good I am sure ........ As you are cooking it in a Pressure cooker , the Coconut Paste Can be added in the Last 5 minutes also ..... It will help in adjusting the Consistency of the Kuruma also ...... !!!
Yes you can use any other vegetable instead of sorakai - while grinding masala for the gravy add some cashew nuts also which will enhance the taste and thickness, you can also add little coconut milk in the last
Yes Madam , You can use whatever Vegetable you will prefer in a Kuruma , .... Carrots , Pumpkin , Yellow Pumpkin , Noolkol ( Tinda ) , Bangalore Kathrikkai ( chow chow ) , even Potatoes !!! A Small Portion of any of these, when added to the Kuruma Gravy will add to the Rich Taste ...... Greetings.....
Can you do podalangaai kootu also....because in my home my sister in law is making and it tastes like hell...so I want you to try the same......I have trust that ...you will do it very well....that's why am asking you......please do the needful .....
