Economically Weaker in Non SC/ST/OBC have 20% PSTM reservation in Employment and 7.5% reservation in Education in Tamil Nadu. The question is how many Non SC/ST/OBC truly belong to Economically Weaker Sections ? If Non SC/ST/OBC people study in Tamil Medium (Government Schools) and they have marks above Cutoff, they can apply for the 20% / 7.5% reservation.

Watched Subavee's answers in "Kaarasaram". This program has to be appreciated for he has invited questions from those who have diametrically opposite views. He justifies attacks on Hinduism only and not other religions as he is a Hindu and the majority are Hindus. I think his logic is flawed because in that case he should term his aim as " Hindu Samooga Needhi" and not just "Samooga Needhi" as other religions are also part of the samoogam. Again he justifies cutting of the poonols ( sacred thread) of Brahmins and calls it a soft retaliation ( menmurai and not vanmurai). This is plain wrong as all Brahmins are not responsible for repression and they should have targeted only those Brahmins who had harmed the lower castes. Again the sacred thread may not mean anything to rationalists but means a lot to Brahmins and cutting it off is not soft retaliation. If I get a chance in that program, I have a lot of questions to corner him.
Would they dare to say to Sikhs not to carry kirban under common civil code? Will hindus forego Hindu undivided family tax benefits which they enjoy and other communities don't? When hijab is being admonished why no one is objecting Sikh's Turban? When men are compelled to cover their head by Sikhism it is ok - but women are recommended to cover their head - why is it considered oppression? Please note that all muslim women don't wear scarf - no muslim admonish them.. they are let be.. Women are wearing scarves as their choice. who are you to say they should not wear it.. Hinduism can't be reformed by dravidians. It's not the job of dravidians. If people don't like Hinduism, then they can very well migrate to Buddhism or other religions of their choice.. If DK leaders and followers have joined Buddhism or other religions,by this time lakhs and lakhs of people ought to have joined Buddhism and or other religions of their choice. Hinduism in Tamil Nadu would have reduced by lakhs and lakhs of people. Hinduism will be in jittery.

Muslim women have right to do their own business - for 1500 years Muslim women should give clear consent for marriage Muslim women were given right to divorce in one say - 1500 years back - In other communities it has to be fought out in court Muslim women are not secluded during those three days Muslims are around 15 - 20% in population but they get meagre 3.5% reservation - where as the forward community being only 3 - 4% enjoy 10% based on income reservation - The stipulation that earning less than 8lac/ p.a is considered poor and economically weak. It is a big joke. I am sure Su ba Vee knows all the above - I don't know why he did not say these points. Expected more from him..
