If they (Dushyanth, JayaSree) have any semblance of honesty , bhakthi .. they should apologise for misleading the society especially next generation. According to Google the Gregorian calendar came into existence in 1582 CE. I really wonder how the researchers can point to a particular day in Gregorian calendar before 7000 years. I assume that for any jothisha software, the basis will be our panchangam and Gregorian date will be derived from the panchangam date. Even if there is another bug free software for panchangam, I would say that this is a futile attempt by some researchers because the planetary positions will always be repeated after a certain number of years.

All software come with bugs, calling the complete software junk is a bit exaggerated from highly knowledgeable person like you. I think you should also explain how this bug is related to the point you are trying to make. It looks like a corner case cosmetic bug and shouldn't really affect any calculations as the software doesn't allow you to enter invalid dates, it seems to be the case only when moving to the next month using the navigation buttons.

In general for a given date jhora does calculate the positions of graha well enough. Even transits with certain conjunctions are good. But then jhora is probably based on Swiss ephemeris which can be used at most for 200 years in past. Beyond that there are lot of unknowns like the precession of equinox, its velocity etc. So no software can be used for calculating lakhs of years. Ramayana dating at this moment can only be done by Puranas and itihasas.

Before 2000 yrs. There is no months called july and August. Only after juliusceaser and Agasthus these months introduced. This calendar is English calendar. When Lord Rama born there was no susuch calender. There research with ancient panchangam and read with present English calendar is,absurd and not acceptable. Such harsh criticism for an obvious bug in free software. Put those incorrect dates manually using the "Data" button on the left below "Preferences," it will correct you by saying "Please enter an integer between so and so date". It's useful software! Not junk! You're being nitpicky. Totally agree with your views on their new so-called "research." But it is best refuted with shastras as you did with your other videos. What will you do if they come up with the same data using Parashara light? Or any other software? Find a silly bug in that software as well and try to disprove the whole research as well?

@ecemkarthick I get what you mean about manual entry of date & about the s/w being a free one but it's quite surprising that a software that deals with horoscopes [where date is such a vital data point!] hasn't taken this into consideration. Anyways, Mr DS & Mrs JS could've used the manual entry option and never triggered the defective portion of the software but their approach to find Sri Rama's date of birth through JHora 🤦♀will remain erroneous forever.
