- Water (for syrup) - 1/2 cup 💧
- Lemon Juice - 1/2 tsp 🍋
- Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tsp 🌿
- Clarified Butter - 1 tbsp 🧈
- Oil (for frying) - as required 🍳
- Food Color (optional) 🎨
🍽️ Cooking Steps:
1. Add 1 cup of all-purpose flour to a mixing bowl. 🍚
Tip: Use fresh flour to ensure the best texture for the batter.
2. Add a mixture of 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup curd to the bowl. Mix well. 💧🥛
3. Mix the flour into a thick batter without any lumps. The consistency should be thicker than dosa batter. 👩‍🍳

9. Add 1/2 tsp cardamom powder and 1 tbsp clarified butter, then turn off the stove. 🌿🧈
Tip: Be careful not to overcook the syrup; a one-thread consistency is key for the right texture.
10. After 1 1/2 hours of resting the batter, mix it again. Add food color if desired. 🎨
11. Pour the batter into a sauce bottle or a zip lock cover, cutting off a small corner to make a hole. 🥄
Tip: The size of the hole will determine the thickness of your jalebis, so make it accordingly.
12. Heat oil on medium flame for deep frying. 🍳🔥
13. Shape the jalebis in the oil by squeezing the batter in a circular pattern. 🔄
