Their end game was to hike prices and simply it is the time now. Current oil price is less than the price before Ukraine war ( 120 versus 93 dollars ) 3) America can revenge by bringing in Venezualan and Iranian oils into market. Currently both countries are sanctioned. Remember Venezuala has the largest oil reserve on the planet. However, these are trivial issues and the US-Saudi relation will pass this test. It is inevitable for the world economy 4) Oil Fracking is a "low entry barrier" and quick to start production. It breaks even at 60-80 dollars per barrel. USA is an extremely business friendly and market economy. So the fracking companies now has a golden opportunity and USA has already became an energy exporting giant 4) Why Mr S JaiShankar don't have any "Popular Comments" on this subject. India & China suffers lot worse than every country since they are largest importers of oil. USA is the largest oil producer as of now and even India imports oil from USA 5) Still I appreciate the guts of USA to express the discontent right away inspite of being a super ally. I wish India had similar guts to talk to Russa. Else world won't consider Indo-Rus as equal partner relationship
