Hey Ragesh..good morning…listening to your video while driving my swift 1.2 AMT….totally agree with you..AMT’s are not as sluggish as they used to be especially the one ones from Maruti stable are now well optimised..for quick overtakings, slot into M mode, downshift, they do respond well..no comparison to manual or other automatics..but AMT’s can be fun if you are used to it😊

I've been using the Ignis AGS for the last 2 months, after driving a manual transmission car for almost 8 years. Initially, I wasn't interested in purchasing an automatic, especially an AGS. However, once you drive it, your attitude towards AMT/AGS changes. If you enjoy driving aggressively.. Iike quick downshifts and sudden acceleration; then it's not your cup of tea because it's not an automatic; an automated manual, so there is a gear shift lag. Pros: Ease of use; more practical as a family car; mileage; reliable like a manual. Cons: Lag in gear shifts; inconvenience in uphills if hill-hold feature is absent. For smoother overtaking in amt, instead of shifting to "M", you can do it with accelerator pedal only..like once you blips the pedal it downshifts ( personally, its more convenient than shifting to "M" all the time )
എന്റെ കൈവശമുള്ളത് 2019മോഡൽ wagonr ZXI AMT ആണ്. ഓടിക്കാൻ വളരെ ഈസി ആണ്. No tension. പക്ഷേ ഇന്ധനക്ഷമത അല്പം കുറവാണു. ഒരു ലിറ്ററിന് 13 അല്ലെങ്കിൽ 14 KM മാത്രം.
I am at present using AMT Swift VXI for the past 2 1/2 years, I was using before AMT, manual cars for the past 40 years, when I started to use AMT I was not comfortable, but now I am feeling good and getting good mileage
Amt use ചെയ്ത് പരിചയിച്ച എനിക്ക് ഒരു പ്രശ്നവും ഇല്ല. Your videos helped me a lot to improve my skills. Thank you ❤ I use WAGONR zxi and occasionally use my sister's magnite turbo model. Both are amt. ഓടിക്കേണ്ട രീതിയിൽ ഓടിച്ചാൽ നല്ല മൈലേജ് കിട്ടും especially long drive ന്. ഒരു jerkum ഇല്ല. മാത്രമല്ല manual ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന്നതിനേക്കൽ സ്മൂത്ത് ആയിട്ട് ഓടിക്കാം. Lag ഇല്ല എന്നല്ല but negligible ആണ്. സ്ഥിരം മാന്വൽ ഓടിച്ച് പരിചയിച്ച എനിക്ക് ഇപ്പൊൾ long travel പോകാൻ amt ആണ് ഇഷ്ടം. So relaxable drive. ചെന്നൈ trip ഒക്കെ (680km) 15 മണിക്കൂറിൽ കവർ ചെയ്യും ഒരു മടുപ്പും ഇല്ലാതെ. Continuous ആയി അത്രയും ദൂരം മാന്വൽ ഓടിക്കുന്നത് ഇപ്പൊൾ ചിന്തിക്കാൻ പറ്റുന്നില്ല. പിന്നെ നാട്ടിൽ റോഡിൻ്റെ കിടപ്പ് വെച്ച് മാന്വൽ മോഡ് ആണ് കൂടുതലും use ചെയ്യുന്നത്. ചെറിയ lag കാരണം പിന്നിൽ വരുന്ന മാന്വൽ വണ്ടികൾ ഹോൺ അടിച്ച് വിരട്ടും. Manual gear ഷിഫ്റ് ചെയ്യാൻ after 15km 2nd gear ആഫ്റ്റർ 30 third gear after 40 4th gear അങ്ങനെ ആണ് upshift ചെയ്യുന്നതെങ്കിൽ ഗിയർ ഷിഫ്റ്റ് ആകും, ഈ റേഞ്ച് അകതാണെങ്കിൽ shift ചെയ്താലും ഗിയർ മാറില്ല. Downshift ചെയ്യേണ്ടി വരുന്നത് കുത്ത് ഇറക്കത്തിൽ വരുമ്പോൾ മാത്രം ആണ്.
@@F22raptoraircraft depends on road conditions. I got maximum 24.4kmpl on long drive. If drives only in city for long periods it fall to 12kmpl. For normal conditions we can fetch around 18kmpl
