K. Gopi. G. Venugopal won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Singer for the song "Thaane Poovitta Moham". Thomas and Saraswathy get married but their parents disapprove of their relationship due to the difference in religion. Influenced by their families, the couple gets separated after giving birth.
