ഇടവിട്ട് ഗൾഫുരാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ പോയിവരുന്ന ഞാൻ തിരിച്ചു വരുമ്പോൾ ഫ്ലൈറ്റിൽനിന്നു ഇറങ്ങി നമ്മുടെ ഭൂമിയിൽ ചവിട്ടുമ്പോൾ മനസ്സിൽ ആദ്യം പറയുന്നത് അൽഹംദുലില്ല (എന്നെ തിരിച്ചു ഇവിടെ എത്തിച്ചുതന്നതിനു ദൈവത്തിനു സ്തുതി)എന്നാണ്. കാരണം ആ സുഖവും സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യവും സമാധാനവും ഈ ലോകത്തു ഒരിടത്തും കിട്ടില്ല അത്ര തന്നെ ...

If you are a nurse coming first time to UK this is heaven for nurses. If you are a Gulf returnee it is loss for you however heaven for your children. UK is a racist country if you apply for a job or any benefit. If you paid for a service then UK is the best customer experience. Will you accept any migrant as yours in your country then, they are doing same thing similar. Working in Middle East you accept their attitude, you never expect that you can have two life similar in Middle East and back home. You send all money to back home and live one month in an year. Here you have full fledged life and you want back home as well similar amneties. That is one of the disappointment.

Nurses are backbone of family. In Kerala a Nurses get Rs.30 000 maximum. In Delhi or Mumbai, the salary may be more. So Nurses are migrating to UK,CANADA, AUSTRALIA, IRELAND ,GERMANY, NEWSLAND Etc. USA is best but now the VISA is stopped. I think the last family visa was around 18 years. Every country, different cultures, salary is different, climate is different etc. Every where cost of living is very high. 2 or 3 years there is difficulties Every where. My view is all trained Nurses should migrate to other countries. It is good for future. I have no idea about Gulf countries. We are living in USA. For professional people it is very good.

The problems you point out are not the main reasons for Malayali Nurses to leave the UK. My feeling is that they are Salary and Career Progression and Children's Education. You have not come to those points. Also, the big advantages of the UK Nursing Life are the 3-day work week, the highly respected work environment, and the possibility to earn extra income if necessary by working overtime during weekends.
