Auroville is an experimental township in Viluppuram district, mostly in the state of Tamil Nadu, India, with some parts in the Union Territory of Pondicherry in India. It was founded in 1968 by Mirra Alfassa and designed by architect Roger Anger.

Ya soon we could own a villa there after required development activities is conducted. The new management will soon clear the area of original residents and unwanted trees, ecosystem etc…. It will be a perfect eco tourism and real estate location

It is possible for them French dudes. Because they are getting stipend from the French govt, nearly 2 lakhs a month I think, they will take care of you but it is embarassing to live like that for long, most of them don't do any job, they help each other in basic tasks though, like painting a new building.

When I saw Matri mandir through my textbooks, I was awestruck by its design and it evoke a sense of inner peace. Now knowing its history I wish to visit this amazing land once in my lifetime and I hope all problems will be solved as soon as possible. Auroville should be preserved as the symbol of universality and sustainable dvlpt and as a shining icon of India's spiritual horizon.

ഈ വാർത്ത കേട്ടപ്പോൾ ഒത്തിരി സങ്കടം തോന്നി. കഴിഞ്ഞവർഷം രണ്ടു ദിവസം അവിടെ പോയി താമസിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഇത്രയും peaceful വേറെ ഒരു സ്ഥലം ഞാൻ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല. മതമില്ലാത്ത രാഷ്ട്രീയമില്ലാത്ത പ്രകൃതിയോട് ചേർന്ന് ജീവിക്കുന്ന ഒരു കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി. ഓറോവിൽ നമ്മൾ കാണാൻ പോകുമ്പോൾ നമ്മൾ കാണുന്ന Matrimandir മാത്രമല്ല Auroville. ഇത്രെയും sustainable ആയ വേറെ ഒരു കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്ത് ഉണ്ടാകില്ല.

Dear Babu Ramachandran, If I may, let me please share a humble personal opinion about your presentation: In a few of your episodes (like this one, for example) your voice-tone somehow invokes some kind of urgency or anxiety in me. It feels like your pitch ascends steadily, where a tad bit modulation might be more desirable. In most others, your voice as well as pitch flow in a much sweeter manner and they’re a real joy to listen. I wish I knew better to convey what i mean. Indeed this is a very minor thing; being an ardent follower of your program who listens most episodes repeatedly,I felt like sharing my two cents, just in case it’s of any help.🥰🥰 You simply are a master story teller; thank you so much for this amazing program!!❤️❤️

When you go there you should get inside the Globe. It’s an amazing piece of architecture. Central govt shouldn’t over interfere in Auroville decisions. That might gonna badly effect the culture of Auroville (fear of mine).

പോണ്ടിച്ചേരികു അടുത്തുള്ള പ്രദേശം 😄അവിടെ ചുറ്റും ഉള്ള ആ കാടുകളും വീടുകളും കുറേ തവണ പോയി കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്.... ടാർ ഇടാത്ത കുറേ റോഡുകൾ, ആ പച്ചപ്പിൽ പോയി കറക്റ്റ് ആയി തിരികെ പോരാൻ ഫസ്റ്റ് പോകുന്നവർ വിയർക്കും 😂വല്ലാത്ത ലൈഫ് ആണ് അവിടെ വിദേശികൾ നയിക്കുന്നത്.... Amazing ❤

താരതമ്യേനെ ഈ episode ൽ content കുറവാണെന്ന് തോന്നി. സാധാരണ അവതാരകൻ അദ്ദേഹം വായിച്ച പുസ്തകങ്ങൾ റഫറൻസ് വച്ചുകൊണ്ടാണ് സംസാരിക്കാറുള്ളത്. പക്ഷെ ഇതിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വ്യക്തിപരമായ ചില കാഴ്ചപ്പാടുകളുടെ reflection കൂടുതലായി വന്നിട്ടുള്ളത് പോലെ ഒരു തോന്നൽ. Anyway thanks for new informations
