വിവരം കെട്ടവൻ. ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് archives ൽ എഴുതിവച്ചതൊക്കെ ശരി . ഇവിടെയുള്ളൊരു പറയുന്നതൊക്കെ നുണ. ബ്രിട്ടീഷുകാർക്ക് നൊണ പറയേണ്ട ആവശ്യമില്ലത്രേ. അതാണ് ഇവന്റെ ഗവേഷണത്തിന്റെ ഉള്ളടക്കം. അതിനെ പൊക്കി പിടിക്കാൻ കയറെടുക്കുന്ന കുറെ വിവര ദോഷികളും.

ഞാൻ ഒരു ചരിത്ര വിദ്യയാർത്ഥി ആണ് ഒരുപാട് അറിവുകൾ തന്നതിൽ നന്ദി. ചരിത്രം ഒരിക്കലും. അവസാനിക്കില്ല ആ കാരണം അത് ഓരോ കാലത്തും പുതിയ കണ്ടത്തെലുകൾ നടത്തും അതിന് ഇത് പോലെ ഉള്ള മനുഷ്യൻ വരണം . പിന്നെ പുസ്തകം ഒരിക്കലും പഴയത് ഒരു വസ്തുത ആകുന്നില്ല അത് കാലങ്ങൾ കഴിയും തോറും പുതിയ രീതിയിൽ മാറി വരും മനുഷ്യൻ ഇല്ലാതാവുന്ന കലാത്തോളം അത് ഇവിടെ ഉണ്ടാകും

As a malayalee i feel proud to hear Manu's interview. He don't know how to read and write malayalam however his effort is incredible. My daughter got a chance to welcome him as a cheif guest in her college. I thought it is her blessing to meet such a truth ful personality

I don't know what power he has, one of my own strengths is in the area of language, yet I cannot understand how he has me captured! I actually don't care about the relationships of royals but the way he writes is so compelling and engaging. That is called talent!

What a delightful insight into the past ! It made me change several perceptions. Not read the book 'The Ivory Throne' yet as I was intimidated by the size of it. But today I bought one and have begun reading it. The first few pages have been facinating. It is good that the author focussed on the human element which is why it is bound to kindle interest.
