ഈ കേട്ടതിൽ നിന്ന് ഒരു കാര്യം മനസിലാക്കാം. കോൺഗ്രസ്‌ നല്ല പരാജയം ആയിരുന്നു. അത്കൊണ്ട് ആണ് നരസിംഹ rao പോലെ ഉള്ളവർ തഴയപ്പെട്ടത്. സോണിയ ആണ് കോൺഗ്രസ്‌ ഇത്രയും നശിപ്പിച്ചത് 😢anyway ഇനിപ്പോ പ്രതിപക്ഷത് ഇരിക്കാം അറിയാവുന്നവർ ഭരിച്ചു കാണിക്കട്ടെ.

ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ചരിത്രത്തിൽ ഏറ്റവുമധികം വെറുക്കപ്പെട്ട ആദ്യപ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ഗുജറാത്ത്‌ വംശഹത്യയുടെ സൂത്രധാരൻ നരേന്ദ്രമോഡി ആയിരുന്നില്ല, രഥയാത്രകൾ നടത്തി അയോദ്ധ്യയിലെ ബാബരിമസ്‌ജിദ്‌ തകർത്ത ആർ എസ്‌ എസ്‌ നേതാവ്‌ അദ്വാനിക്ക്‌ എല്ലാവിധ പിന്തുണയും നൽകിയ സാക്ഷാൽ നരസിംഹ റാവു ആയിരുന്നു. 14 ഭാഷകൾ അറിയുമായിരുന്ന റാവു അന്ന് ബാബരി മസ് ജിദ്‌ തകർക്കാൻ വന്ന ഹിന്ദുത്വ കർസ്സേവകർക്ക്‌ കാവൽ നിന്ന പട്ടാളക്കാരോട്‌ പൊളിക്കുന്നത്‌ തടയാൻ ഒരു വാക്കുകൊണ്ട്‌ പോലും ശ്രമിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല. വർഷങ്ങൾ നീണ്ട നുണപ്രചരണങ്ങളിലൂടെ ഹിന്ദുവികാരങ്ങളെ ആവേശം കൊള്ളിച്ച്‌ അദ്വാനി നടത്തിയ രഥയാത്രയിൽ ആയിരങ്ങൾ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ നിസ്സംഗനായി നോക്കി നിന്ന ഭരണാധികാരിയിൽ നിന്നും മറ്റൊന്ന് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാൻ കഴിയുമായിരുന്നില്ല. പള്ളി പൊളിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ അതിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടിക വീണു ചത്തുപോയ കർസ്സേവകർക്ക്‌ സർക്കാർ ആനുകൂല്യം കൊടുക്കാൻ യാതൊരു മടിയും കാണിക്കാതിരുന്ന റാവു കലാപത്തിൽ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടവർക്ക്‌ ഒരു രൂപയുടെ നഷ്ടപരിഹാരം കൊടുത്തില്ല. പക്ഷെ ഒന്ന് സംഭവിച്ചു - ഇന്ത്യൻ നാഷണൽ കോൺഗ്രസ്‌ എന്ന പാർട്ടിയെ ആദ്യമായി അധികാരത്തിൽ നിന്നുമിറക്കാൻ റാവുവിന്റെ നിസ്സംഗത നിമിത്തമായി. 'തകർത്ത പള്ളി ഉടൻ പുനർ നിർമ്മിക്കും' എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ്‌ റാവു ന്യൂനപക്ഷങ്ങളെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചെങ്കിലും ഫലമുണ്ടായില്ല. ബോംബെയുടെ തെരുവുകൾ ന്യൂനപക്ഷങ്ങളുടെ ചോരപുരണ്ട്‌ വികൃതമാകുമ്പോൾ റാവുവും പതുക്കെ ജനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും ഇല്ലാതായിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. കോൺഗ്രസ്‌ ഇതര സർക്കാറുകൾ വന്നു, റാവു ഒരു വാക്ക്‌ കൊണ്ട്‌ ഒരിടത്തും ഓർമ്മിക്കപ്പെടാതെ പോയി. കോൺഗ്രസ്‌ റാവുവിനെ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞ്‌ തങ്ങളുടെ ചോരക്കൈകൾ കഴുകാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു. റാവു മരണം ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങുമ്പോഴാണു വീണ്ടും വാർത്തകളിൽ പോലും വന്നത്‌. മൃതദേഹം ചിതയിൽ കത്തിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ പെട്ടെന്ന് അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായി പെയ്ത മഴയിൽ തീയണഞ്ഞതായി വാർത്തകൾ വന്നിരുന്നു. ദു:ഖാചരണം രണ്ടുമൂന്നുദിവസം നീണ്ടില്ല, മറ്റൊരു പ്രകൃതി ദുരന്തം വന്ന് മാധ്യമങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു നിഷ്കാസിതനായി. ഒരു സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ മുഴുവൻ ശാപമേറ്റുവാങ്ങിയ റാവു അർഹിക്കുന്ന ശിഷ്ടകാലവും നിന്ദ്യതയുമേറ്റി വാങ്ങിയത്‌ ഒരുപക്ഷെ യാദൃശ്ചികം മാത്രമാവാം. രാജ്‌ ഘട്ടിൽ റാവുവിനൊരു സ്മാരകം ഉയർന്നതു പോലും പത്ത്‌ വർഷങ്ങൾ കഴിഞ്ഞാണു. രണ്ടുമാസം മുൻപ്‌ മോഡിസർക്കാരും റാവുവിനു മികച്ചൊരു സ്മാരകം പണിയാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചത്‌ പറയുന്നുണ്ട്‌. റാവു അർഹിക്കുന്നതും മോഡിയുടെ ആദരം തന്നെയാണു - അതാണു കാവ്യനീതിയും !

നെഹ്‌റുവിന് ശേഷം രാജ്യം കണ്ട ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി. പിവി നരസിംഹ rao um മൻമോഹൻ സിങ്ങും ഇല്ലായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ കാണാമായിരുന്നു രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ അവസ്ഥ. പക്ഷെ അദ്ദേഹത്തോട് കോൺഗ്രസ്സും നെഹ്‌റു കുടുംബവും ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ജനങ്ങളും ചെയ്തത് നന്ദി കേടാണ്. പിന്നെ ബാബരി മസ്ജിദിന്റെ തകർക്കലിൽ നിന്ന് നരസിംഹ rao ന് ഒഴിഞ്ഞു നിൽക്കാനും കഴിയില്ല. എന്നിരുന്നാലും അദ്ദേഹത്തെ അതിൽ മാത്രമായി തളച്ചിടാനും കഴിയില്ല. ഇന്നും നന്ദിയോടെയും അല്പം വിഷമത്തോടെയും ഓർക്കുന്നു. രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിക് എന്റെ പ്രണാമം 😢❤😊

@@Vibes3438 ഒരിക്കലും അല്ല. രാജ്യത്തിലെ ഒരു വിഭാഗം ജനങ്ങളുടെ ആരാധനാലയം മറ്റൊരു വിഭാഗത്തിലെ തീവ്രനിലപാടുകാർ തച്ചുതകർക്കുമ്പോൾ അത്‌ നോക്കി നിൽക്കലല്ല പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്. നിങ്ങൾക് അത്‌ തോന്നുന്നത് ഒരു പക്ഷെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളിലുള്ള അന്ധമായ മുസ്ലിം വിരോധം കൊണ്ടാകാം. ഇതിന് സമാനമായ സംഭവങ്ങൾ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ചരിത്രത്തിൽ മുൻപും പിൻപും ഉണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ട്.. മണിപ്പൂരിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒരു വർഷം കൊണ്ട് എന്തൊക്കെയാ നടന്നതെന്ന് നാം കണ്ടു അവിടേക്ക് ഒന്ന് ചെല്ലാനോ അവിടത്തെ പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ പരിഹരിക്കാനോ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി ശ്രമിച്ചിട്ടില്ല ശ്രമിക്കുന്നില്ല അത്‌ പോലെ 1984ഇൽ ഡൽഹി യിൽ നടന്ന സിഖ് കൂട്ടക്കൊല,അതിനെ പരിഹരിക്കാൻ അന്നത്തെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയായിരുന്ന രാജീവ്‌ ഗാന്ധി ശ്രമിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല. ഇത് പോലെ എത്ര എത്ര സംഭവങ്ങൾ ഭരണാധികാരികളുടെ നിശബ്ദത കൊണ്ട് രാജ്യം കത്തി അമർന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഈ ഭരണാധികാരികൾ ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രവർത്തികൾ ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യാൻ ജനങ്ങളായ നമുക്ക് കഴിയുന്നില്ല. നാം ഇന്ത്യക്കാർ ജാതിയുടെയും മതത്തിന്റെയും പേരിൽ തമ്മിൽ തല്ലുന്നു, അല്ല നമ്മളെ തല്ലിക്കുന്നു. ആര്? ആർക്കാണ് ഇതിന്റെ ലാഭം ഇവിടത്തെ രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാർക്കും മതനേതാക്കന്മാർക്കും ജാതിനേതാക്കന്മാർക്കും. അവരുടെ മക്കൾക്കോ കുടുംബത്തിനോ ഭൂരിഭാഗം അവസരങ്ങളിലും ഒന്നും സംഭവിക്കില്ല എന്നും ബലിയാടാ ക്കപ്പെടുന്നത് സാധാരണ ജനങ്ങൾ മാത്രമാണ് അന്നത്തെ അന്നത്തിന് വേണ്ടി കഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നവർക്കും അവരുടെ ഭാര്യമാർക്കും മക്കൾക്കും കുടുംബത്തിനും മാത്രം. ജനങ്ങൾ അനുദിനം അകന്നു കൊണ്ടേ ഇരിക്കുന്നു. ഗുഹയിലും കാടുകളിലും താമസിച്ചിരുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ ഇന്ന് പ്രപഞ്ച രഹസ്യങ്ങളെ കണ്ടത്തെന്നു. മനുഷ്യന്റെ കൈ പിടിയിൽ ഇന്ന് എന്തും ലഭ്യമാണ്. ഇതെങ്ങനെ സംഭവിച്ചു? മനുഷ്യൻ അവന്റെ തലച്ചോർ കൊണ്ട് ചിന്തിക്കുകയും ഗവേഷണം നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ. ആ തലച്ചോർ വെച്ച് ചിന്തിക്കൂ ജാതിയുടെയും മതത്തിന്റെയും രാഷ്ട്രീയ പ്രസ്ഥാനങ്ങളുടെയും ഇതിന്റെ ഒക്കെയും നേതാക്കന്മാരുടെയും കയ്യിലെ കള്ളിപ്പാവ ആണോ ഞാൻ എന്ന് ചിന്തിക്കു. മദ്യവും മയക്കുമരുന്ന് പോലെ ഉള്ള ലഹരി വസ്തു തന്നെയാണ് മതവും രാഷ്ട്രീയവും. അതിന്റെ വില്പനക്കാരൻ നേട്ടങ്ങൾ കൊയ്യുന്നു അതിന്റെ നിത്യ ഉപയോഗക്കാരൻ സർവ്വ വിനാശവും. എന്ന് കൗമാരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഇരുപതുകളിലേക്ക് കാലെടുത്തുവെച്ച ഒരു ഇന്ത്യക്കാരൻ ഭാരതീയൻ 🙏🇮🇳❤

It is a fitting tribute to Sri. Rao! He was a 'muni' among the Indian politicians. He observed 'mounam' (silence) when people around him accused him of corruption and incompetence. His silence and the apparent inaction as the 'rath yathra' led by Advani was culminating in the demolition of Babri Masjid was both philosophical and pragmatic. The choices before him were two. Either dismiss the Kalyan Singh govt and send the troops to protect the structure. That would have been suicidal for the cogress party as well as to him. The belligerent crowd would have forced the troops to fire. The rest would have been unimaginable. The other option was to show faith in the assurance given to the Supreme Court by Kalyan Singh govt that it would protect the Masjid. This was a tricky situation. Had he dismissed the UP govt, it would have given a whip to the BJP to attack Congress for ages, arguing that it would have protected the structure and Kalyan Singh would have played the martyr. That was exactly what the BJP leadership wanted at that point. Moreover, the pragmatist in Rao knew that as long as the structure stood there the BJP had a rallying point. Once that was gone the BJP would have no more bone (of contention) to whip up the emotions in their rank and file and mobilize hindu votes. Had he done any of these steps then, BJP would have come to power in the very next election. But for his detractors in Congress, he would have been called one of the greatest leaders of this country. Footnote: Politics is a domain of dynamic social action where what is RIGHT is determined by the circumstances. It is relative and contextual.

RAJEEV used to address him with great elderly respect but his wife of foreign origin failed to respect elders and to understand the complexity of Indian politics. If Rao was in any other party than Congress he would have been prime minister in 1984 itself ( after Indira Gandhi' s martyrdom)

This entire episode is based on "Half lion". If the author is biased, then the whole narrative becomes biased. That's why research should not be based on one single source. I'm a regular viewer of "Vallathoru Katha", I can accept things if the narrative is against my own views reg. your topics, but building the lion-share of your entire story based on a single book is of amusement to me.
