state govt is supporting adani for the vizhinjam port and also they are not even filing cases against adani group for delaying the project. adani group is to pay fine to state govt if they violated any terms. and they already have violated many. the thing with the airport is the trivandrum port is a profit making airport. adani offered to pay the central govt more than what state could afford to pay. there was no chance for the state to bid with adani enterprises. but the state is questioning about why was it required to be leased in the first place. and by leasing it to a private company the center is diverting the profits to a private company. kerala govt already has experience in handling airports with private participants. we have a big example like cial. so why is the center leasing the airport ? answer is simple the center currently doesnt have enough money to run the country
