They are very superficial and they do not understand the feelings of the orphaned animals who are kicked and driven away from their land. Will any of these district collectors take any action against these criminals. Just singing and dancing and reading poems do not make an executive a better person. I am a retired military officer who returned to my village to do goseva and protection of stray dogs in my village . I understand that the respect and honour what an animal deserves is as much precious as that of a human. Please remember the words of Mahathma Gandhi who said that the culture of a society can be judged by the way the animals are treated by that society. Let us not be carried away by the superficial acts these IAS/IPS officers are showing to impress the people . Come down to the real life and demonstrate your commitment to the constitution. The society who praises these celebrities are also mere superficial human beings.
