This fellow is telling so many things with a bias. One example, Gandhiji was travelling in third class and not in second class as he says. Gandhiji was not master brain behind Vaikkam sathyagraham .If Gandhiji opposed physical conflict, it was because he knew that it will be the poor lower class people who will suffer most given the social structure and power at that time..Asking other religion people from the Sathyagraha is good tactical move to avoid the criticism of other religions interfering in Hindu affairs
This fellow do not know anything about tamil brahmins contributions. Who is M.S.Swaminathan who pioneered karshika viplavam and increased agricultural productivity ? He is from alleppey. Even now he is associated with kuttanad development.
Ezahavas become successful only after British invasion and works by missionaries. Why ignore that fact. Even if they become relatively powerful it happened only in last 200 years.

They were a hardworking group of people unlike freeloading Brahmins. The problem is that it is more likely that the Syrian Christian caste formed originally as Christian/Jewish traders സംഗരം, and later by marriage bonding with Shudra women and Christian traders. Since there were no Kshatriyas and since ezahavas were not shudras (they were untouchable outcaste ,chandalas), this is the most likely scenerio. Although, I agree that this could easily happen at an earlier period before brahminization, when caste divisions were not very strong. Also, In the case of Ezahavas, large numbers become Latin catholic at the time of Portuguese.
