Ingredients
Chicken -1/2 kg
Oil -
Curryleaves - plenty of
Water -1 cup
For Grinding
Chilli Powder -1tbsp
Kashmiri Chilli Powder -3/4tbsp
Coriander Powder -1tsp
Garam Masala -1/2tsp
Green chilli -3-4
Curry leaves -3
Ginger -Small Piece
Garlic -4
Salt - 3/4 to 1 tsp
Water
Method
Keep aside the cleaned chicken with salt and vinegar. In a grinder add garlic, ginger, green chilies , some curry leaves ,turmeric powder, Kashmiri chilly powder, chilly powder, garam masala , coriander powder and salt.Grind this to a smooth paste. Add some water and pour it to the deep bottomed pan. Add salt accordingly. Add the chicken pieces. Close the kadai .On medium flame cook the dish for 15 mins. Open the lid and cook till the gravy reduces. Check if the chicken is cooked, if not cook it till the chicken is cooked well. Now roast it well while adding oil and curry leaves frequently . Garnish it with some pepper powder and some green chillies.
