The anchor is a perfect example of how cheap is "malayalis" point of view about movies. If a man who has only seen malayalam movies ever in his life is asked to interview lijo, it look exactly like this. Like Lijo said a director must elevate the audience to the next level, not just feed them bull%@&$* which is what they really love to watch. Thats the level of commitment a movie director has, And we are expecting atleast a half from media. Not this kinda joke.

ഈ പരിപാടിക്ക് എന്തുകൊണ്ടും 'നേരെ ചൊവ്വേ ' എന്നതിന് പകരം വിളിച്ചു വരുത്തുന്ന അതിഥികളുടെ മുഖത്ത് നോക്കി 'താൻ ഒന്നു പോടോ ഉവ്വെ'' എന്ന ടൈറ്റിൽ ആണ് കൂടുതൽ അനുയോജ്യമായത്..പ്രണോയ് റോയ്, രവിഷ് കുമാർ മുതൽ ബർക്ക ദത്ത് വരെ പ്രശസ്തരായ ജേർണലിസ്റ്റുകൾ ബോളിവുഡിലൊക്കെ ഇങ്ങനെ പിടിച്ചിരുത്തി വധിക്കുന്നത് കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്.. പക്ഷെ അതിനൊക്കെ കാമ്പുള്ള നല്ല ഒന്നാന്തരം ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ ആണെന്ന് പറയാം.. ഇതുവെറുതെ കാണുന്നവർ മുഴുവൻ 'ലൂക്കോസ് ചേട്ടനെ' സ്മരിച്ചു കൊണ്ടാണ്.. കണ്ടു തീർക്കുന്നത്..

Lijo's approach of narrating a story and capturing it on camera can be compared to three great film makers. First one is the director which he admires the most. That is K.G. George. Another one is Stanley Kubrick and Ridley Scott. The way he makes actors act, uses symbols and allegories, amazing visual experience, biblical symbols, scientific thoughts etc. And gives audience something to think rather than spoon feeding makes him unique.

And if possible.. ee anchor ne nere chovayilekk kayativittal, it would have been a social justice done. This show is simple made for TRP Rating and to pluck out gossiping news from the words of the interviewee. Maanyamaya chodyangal chodichal, it would have been better.🙏🏼
