It's written by Chit Phumisak like this song in his jail cell when he was imprisoned for allegation of being a communist. I think a lot of people should listen to the song especially in these hard times. It's about revolutionary optimism.

As far as I know there is not. But there is a German version of this song called "Budjonny Reiterlied" it's oretty popular and easy to find under that name, but that one lacks the last stanza.
