Yet some patients request it and many doctors continue to prescribe them. It is likely that the improvement that follows antibiotic treatment would have happened regardless of the antibiotics; yet that very "sequence" of events tends to perpetuate the very idea that antibiotics are necessary! 🍂🌼🌾
