Apologize for my Long Comments😅. For who want to know where the screens are take from, i think this is old documentary about Myanmar Army struggle for Independent produced in late 1980s by Myanmar Army Archive and Propaganda Department. Japan recruited thirty Burmese youth from Burma secretly and trained in Hainan under the name of Minami Kikan in February, 1941. One of the Japan objectives is to cut the Burma Road that supplied the aids to anti-japan forces in China. When Pacific War broke out, Minami Kikan moved to Bangkok and later became BIA (Burma Independent Army) in 26 Dec 1941. On that day BIA was founded with Ancient Burmese Bloodsworn Ceremony (BIA member drink blood of each other and swear they will fight back British). After that BIA marched together with Japan from Thailand and fight British in 3 front lines together with 33rd and 55th IJA Infantry Divisions that invaded British Burma. Many Burmese people join BIA to fight back British. These songs were written in BIA era. Later BDA became Burma Patriot Force (PBF) and allied wit Allies Forces and fight back Japan. It aired on TV sometimes in the past around Myanmar Army Day (on March 27 which is Burmese army's resistance to Japanese occupation in 1945).
Recently, on my way to and from get off work, I unconsciously sing the Burmese version of this 「愛馬進軍歌」 Instead, I forgot how to sing the original Japanese version.
Some soldiers behaved badly. However, many Japanese military personnel wished for Burma's independence and supported it. Burma's independence is also good for Japan.
